TikTok announced the launch of Fan Spotlight, a brand new artist-first feature, with an activation by global superstar Billie Eilish to celebrate the release of her new album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. Fan Spotlight is a new artist-first feature which allows artists to showcase their favourite fan videos on their music tab. ➡️ Up to five of their favourite fan videos can be showcased at a time, by 'pinning' them to the top of their music tab as a 'Fan Spotlight'. ➡️ The creator will receive a notification if their video is chosen by the artist. ➡️ The video will remain pinned for up to 7 days, after which the artist can choose to pin new fan videos. This feature provides artists with a valuable opportunity to deepen their connection with fans and foster a vibrant, interactive community. This not only enhances the fans' experience but also encourages more user-generated content, amplifying the artist's presence on the platform.
