How to become that manager who keeps SDRs happy and performing Understand what's demotivating them Take the time to: - Ask - Listen Each SDR needs to feel heard - Make them comfortable enough to share their concerns, thoughts, and ideas - Acknowledge their hard work and celebrate their wins, big or small - Give feedback and don’t leave space for gray areas - Do everything you wish your manager had done for you In the end, a motivated team is a productive team. How do you make sure your team is performing?
Keep corporate politics away from them, be their shield/filter to what matters most/doesn't matter at all - but most importantly make sure they feel heard/seen, that especially includes their accomplishments
Why is this not the norm? I really believe that there are a TON of SDRs out there that have potential to be GREAT, but just need a little nudge from management to get them there.
crazy what you can accomplish by just listening
A great manager is also the one who leads by example and shows how it is done.
Even more than managing it's creating the overall right culture - that's what regulated the rest.
Communictation is the key for me, a leader should be there to guide and teach instead of constantly bashing which will lead quitting and never having the motivation to improve!
Lead by example and establish trust amongst all your reps for a better professional relationship
Engage, appreciate, and support your team. Communication is key to understanding and motivating them. Rita V.
Seeking to understand is huge.

5moAlso acknowledge the reality of outbound on the ground...always just saying 'make more calls' isnt helpful (even if sometimes true lol)
