“We thought funding would solve everything. Instead, it almost broke us.” This morning, I thought about a conversation I had with a tech founder a few months back. They had just raised a healthy seed round and were riding high—hiring fast, scaling their team, and racing to ship their MVP. For a while, things were great. Momentum was building, investors were happy, and the roadmap looked unstoppable. But then, they hit a wall. Their product’s development slowed to a crawl. The issue wasn’t funding or vision—it was a technical bottleneck. They’d built a brilliant team of specialists, but they realized too late that no one was communicating across silos. Every team was running at full speed, but in different directions. As churn crept up and timelines slipped, they admitted: “We focused on speed, but we ignored collaboration.” That founder made a tough but transformative decision. They stopped everything, gathered the team, and tore apart the roadmap. Engineers, designers, and product leads sat in the same room for days, breaking down barriers, rethinking processes, and committing to building as one. The result? It feels surreal to look back at where we started PeopleBlox and where we are today. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, late nights, and endless cups of coffee. ☕ We started with a simple dream: to create a platform that would revolutionize the way organizations manage their talent. We saw a gap in the market, a need for a platform that could simplify complex #HR processes and help organizations unlock their full potential. And so, the adventure began. 🧭 Back then, it felt like a moonshot, but we were fueled by passion and a deep-rooted belief in our vision. Building a SaaS product from scratch is no cakewalk. There were countless challenges, setbacks, and moments when we questioned if we were on the right track. But every hurdle we overcame only made us stronger and more determined.
