【Underground Box of Knowledge: Understanding the Three Circles of Emotional Regulation】 The three circles model, proposed by Paul Gilbert, Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Derby, is central to Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). It simplifies the brain’s complex systems into three areas that need balance for a healthy life. Spending too much time in any one system can cause distress, and recognizing this imbalance helps us make necessary changes. Here are the three systems explained. ----- Dat Therapy - Embrace All Colours 🌐: https://www.dattherapy.com 📧: case.manager@dattherapy.com #DatTherapy #ĐấtTrịLiệu #Mentalhealthawareness

It is astounding how many clinical psychologists do not believe in the first assumption that "Peaople can change" The field of clinical psychology is the field of change. If we believe that people cannot change we are at a dangerous and reflection-worthy position in our attitudes towards humans. Clinical psychology is a sensitive area to work in. We need to be willing to challenge our assumptions towards people and life every now and then. We encounter amazing and astonishing experiences people go through every time we see them. We need to remember that people always have more to them than we see as psychologists! #Clinicalpsychology #Life #change #Sewaily
