We serve two customers at Apartment List. Listers, our property management and ownership partners that advertise on our marketplace and use our AI to run leasing. And Renters, the millions of folks that have engaged with our website and app in order to find a home that they love. We held an empathy day last week while the whole company was together. The purpose? To gain a deeper understanding of our customer and to stretch how we are learning and who we are learning from. And the programming was so smart. All of the folks that sit on the “Lister” side of our business went and listened to a panel where renters who rented on Apartment List shared their experiences and provided feedback on it. The “Renter” side of the business sat in on a panel with two customers where we heard learned about their roles, the market environment, and gained critical insight into how we fit into their marketing and ways we can improve. Special thanks to Conor McManus and Mariya Heath for sharing time with us. You were a highlight of the week!
