Looking forward to listening to this, which I am certain will be an excellent listen like so many of Malcolm Pope's podcasts within the Logistics collective series. In short, LSPs are not profitable enough. The LSPs take very little risk and in return see very little reward. A change of approach is needed, with greater understanding and investment in technology and innovation, giving clear Return on investment, with a focus on cost efficiency and CO2 reduction rather than price and or rates. Collaborative solutions are needed to achieve this with supplier and customer working in partnership towards a common goal.
