The Liquid Conductivity test allows for correct handling procedures to be established. A material with a low conductivity would be considered to be insulating and therefore stop migration of charge. With a charging mechanism present, accumulation of potentially hazardous levels of charge may occur. Understanding the hydraulic power required to drive a pump is crucial for efficient operations. The ideal hydraulic power is determined by factors such as the mass flow rate, liquid density, and differential height of the system. This power can be calculated using the formula Ph(kW) = q ρ g h / (3.6 10^6) or Ph(kW) = q p / (3.6 10^6). By considering these elements, can optimize pump performance and ensure effective fluid transfer processes. #HydraulicPower #PumpEfficiency #FluidDynamics

Why is dew point so important in your compressor setup? Measuring the dew point in compressed air systems is essential for maintaining air quality and ensuring optimal system performance. The dew point is the temperature at which water vapor in the air turns into liquid. If this moisture is not properly managed, it can cause significant problems, including equipment damage, contamination, and interruptions to operations. Chang Ai dew point meter has the features of: 1) Able to accurately measure wide range of dewpoint from -110~+20 °CTd, -80~+20 °CTd and -60~+60 °CTd. 2) Auto-calibration circuit design automatically compensates for measuring drift caused by temperature, contamination, and aging, providing long-term stability and high accuracy measurements 3) Resistant to particulate contamination, oil vapor and chemicals 4) Integrated with online pressure and temperature sensor, output pressure dewpoint and atmospheric pressure dewpoint Contact for exploring comprehensive gas analysis solutions O2 (ppm, %, flue), H2 (ppm,%), thermal conductivity, dew point, NDIR, TDLAS, flowmeter, GC etc. weixin@ci-ele.com

**Prevent Water Hammer Incidents with Thermography** 🔍 **Diagnosing Water Hammer**: A thermal camera can be your first line of defense in identifying the causes of water hammer in your steam system. 🌡️ **Spotting Temperature Drops**: Thermal images that show significant temperature decreases in your condensate recovery piping or steam mains could signal condensate pooling—a precursor to water hammer. 💧 **Addressing Pooling Condensate**: Don't wait for a disaster. If you detect pooling, it's crucial to investigate and address the underlying issues, such as blockages or load fluctuations. 🛠️ **Proactive Measures**: Utilize advanced thermographic diagnostics to stay one step ahead of system failures and ensure the safety and efficiency of your steam system management. 📈 **Stay Informed**: Embrace thermography to enhance your system's reliability. Learn more about this technique and how it can safeguard your operations. #steamsystem #waterhammer #thermography
One method of investigating the cause of water hammer is to examine your system with a thermal camera. If thermal images reveal a large drop in temperature in condensate recovery piping or steam mains, this may indicate that condensate is pooling. If condensate is pooling, you may need to take steps to identify the cause (e.g. a blockage or load fluctuations) and rectify it before a serious accident occurs. Stay ahead of potential system failures with advanced diagnostic techniques. Learn more about leveraging thermography for safer steam system management. What happens if the main heat exchanger of an liquefier was incorrectly designed? In the below case, the inlet temperature of the expanders are much lower than the designed values(S1 vs S2), it results 15TPD liquid(LOX or LIN) loss. The physical rule is: Low expanders inlet temp leads to low enthalpy drop.
