Starbucks Workers United initiated a multi-day strike with pickets in Los Angeles, Seattle and Chicago on Friday. The union said strike actions will spread to other cities until Christmas Eve, potentially hitting hundreds of stores. The strike is motivated by a wage offer the union said was inadequate, and by outstanding unfair labor practice charges.
