We have two exciting keynotes for the ACM International Animal-Computer Interaction Conference 2024 that I am hosting in December. For our opening keynote Amanda Seed, director of RZSS LivingLinks from the University of St Andrews, drawing from her work, will discuss "What kind of minds do primates have?" looking at how species understanding and their cognitive evolution impact animal-computer interfaces. For our closing keynote, Marwa Mahmoud from the University of Glasgow will give a talk, "Beyond Sight: Vision-AI for Animal Behaviour Understanding", talking about how vision-AI can benefit animal welfare by detecting disease and pain.
