🎄 Imagine this: "The 12 Maintenance Requests of Christmas" is multifamily's very own Hallmark-style holiday movie. Now we need YOUR help to create the ultimate feel-good plot. What happens? Who are the kooky side characters? Is there a twist? Give us your ideas in the comments! Let’s make this the holiday movie multifamily needs this season (we'll post more prompts for more faux films throughout the month!). 🎬✨ #The12MaintenanceRequestsofChristmas #rentgrata #holiday
There's a neighborhood dog that's always forcing its owner to come by the leasing office for scritches and treats. PLEASE STOP ME.
Obsessed with this. In true Hallmark fashion: The cooky best friend/roommate of the property manager is trying to match make her roommate with the attractive new maintenance guy that is just filling in for the winter season. The roommate creates a series of work orders a la 12 days of Christmas (1 pipe a leaking, 2 lightbulbs flashing, 3 air filters need changing, 4 cabinets drooping, 5 doors are locked....) Every time the maintenance guy shows up, she makes sure to leave and say the property manager will help. It starts out civil then builds to them being super frustrated with each other, and then after pleading with her best friend the property manager finally gets her to stop submitting work orders, only to find that she misses her interactions with the maintenance man and on Christmas day she submits a ridiculous emergency work order so he will show up, and they run into each others arms and then live happily ever after! Shameless plug - but AppWork would definitely be willing to throw in some product placement dollars if you actually want to make the film ;)
I don't know if I created a monster or started something amazing, but...we're in it now! This story will be nothing without a knowledgeable service manager who gives Santa vibes, loves cookies, and is GREAT but is reluctant to using new tech that could make his job easier. He does love reading all the nice things residents are saying about him via Rentgrata and that always works to lift his spirits when he has clamber up into an attic to fix anything.
Also, there's gotta be a disgruntled resident who ends up loving their community after everyone realizes that the holidays are just hard for them and they need a little cheer.
Rentgrata wins the holidays with this Hallmark shout out! Amazing!
This. Is. Awesome.
