As I reflect on my 21st birthday, I can’t help but think about how important it is to put the customer first in everything we do—whether in life or business. Jenn Hyman’s story with Rent the Runway is a perfect example of this. In 2008, after seeing her sister overspend on a dress for a wedding, Jenn recognized a real problem and built a solution that revolutionized the fashion industry. She didn’t just create a business—she addressed a need by allowing women to rent designer dresses for a fraction of the cost. What sets Jenn’s approach apart is her deep focus on the customer. By understanding the struggles of affordability and access to luxury fashion, she made it easier for her target audience to look and feel their best without the financial strain. Her innovation was rooted in empathy and a genuine desire to solve a common problem, which is why Rent the Runway has become such a success. Turning 21 reminds me of the importance of being more consumer-centric, not just in entrepreneurship but in all aspects of life. Treating customers with care and addressing their needs directly is the foundation of lasting success. This caught my attention! What happened this week? It was definitely a colorful week. Jaguar finally launched their new car. London Blue. Miami Pink. These are the two new colors. The blue one, in particular, looks stunning paired with the gold highlights. Pantone also announced their Color of the Year:  Mocha Mousse. I love its sophisticated and refined vibe. Typographic Inspiration To be honest, I’m really drawn to the vibe of Jaguar’s new typeface. I’ve started using it as inspiration for creating a custom wordmark. My prediction? We’ll see a lot more geometric typefaces and wordmarks in the near future. Branding inspiration Recently, I read an article by branding master Brian Collins He challenged the „purpose obsession“ among brand builders.  I resonate deeply with his perspective, as I also think it’s important to have a purpose, but not every product needs to solve the world’s biggest problems or make the planet a better place. It’s time to move beyond the „bullshit bingo“ and start creating truly authentic brands again. Business wise the week was not that great.  Getting ghosted by clients who use the work I designed without paying or giving credits is really frustrating. Not sure how to deal with it yet. ↳ How was your week?

Australian Fashion Week is in full swing and it’s been a whirlwind of emotions, challenges and successes so far. After two 20 hour days back to back, I’m chilling at home reflecting and collecting my thoughts going into the second half of the week. My key takeaways from days 1 and 2 are; • Everyone is crazy talented, but never underestimate what you bring to the table. • A bright and positive attitude can and will get you places talent and skill alone won’t. • Opportunity is great, but not all of them need your full attention and energy. You will burn out physically and emotionally. • A few bad photos don’t define you. Pick up, learn and move on. • Be grounded enough to accept something isn’t working and be smart enough to do something about it. • Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Most of the time people are bloody lovely and love to chat. • Stick your neck out and shoot your shot. If you don’t try, you’ll never know. • Be hungry to keep learning. Walk away everyday with something to work on. • Treat digital photography like film. Take that extra second to compose yourself. Take that extra second to check your settings. Pose your models exactly how you envisioned them looking. No one is really in a rush, it’s just you. You’re the one that’s rushing. And rushed photography looks rushed. • Be kind to yourself. If you’re improving every day, you’re already doing yourself proud. If you had a bad day, find the lessons in it and grow. Lastly, the fashion industry is super difficult to break into with the wrong mindset. What is life like at Neun Farben Corporation? Been a rough week for the production team, to ease the struggles. After acommplishing everything at the end of the day and in times of high stress. We go out for the night to eat some comfort ramen together. 🍜 Creating great games is no joke, you’ll have to deal with burn out, folks not being able to handle the pressure, people quitting. All the while making sure things are working accordingly, avoid breaking the build and among many other things that you have to keep in mind. When you want to achieve a good quality product for your target audience and something that you can be proud off. There will always be bumps on the road.💀 Hence we are always keen on learning, what our people think and to work as a cohesive unit. And let them speak their minds on how best we can help them.
