Ever been in a helicopter, feeling like you're on top of the world? That's the thrill of the bird's-eye view. A colossal, earth-shattering vision, joint venture plans, and destination roadmaps. I've spent the last 7 months building from scratch and I'm sharing my process: Next steps in that helicopter ride? We're hosting 2 private lunches with 14 incredible venture builders, SMEs, and visionaries. Why? Because they're my new audience. They’re where I want to go. They’re my new customers. Their feedback, perspectives, and validation are crucial before we launch into the world. Sure, I'll face some tough questions, but hey, humility and daring are the name of the game. It's what sets you apart, ensures business survival, and brings that stellar vision to life. Oh, and I almost forgot one thing: clarity. Without it, there's no roadmap, no plan. Just my beliefs and opinions— and that's just not enough Andymore 😂 Where will this helicopter ride take us? I'm building upon that Unstoppable Movement: an entirely collaborative business ecosystem in Belgium. Sign up for our newsletter to stay in the loop and maybe even hop on board our enterprise: https://lnkd.in/ecis4QXG What's 1 strategic initiative you undertake to analyze the bigger picture in your operations, Kurt Ghijsbrecht, Gerrit Sarens, Ryan O'Keeffe, Tasso Limneos? #andynijs #theleagueofunstoppables #jointventures #ecosystem PS: Stephan Van Der Wildt and Laure Oomens, that's us in the helicopter.

Wait! Weren't you working on GrandTour? What's this Guru thing about? Few understand the entrepreneurial journey from concept to market-ready product, where learning and iteration are crucial. It's a tough path filled with obstacles, yet it's essential for any founder seeking to create a viable, needed product. I launched GrandTour at the start of the year, fueled by excitement and drive. I partnered with Willem Krauss, one of my best friends. We soon discovered our backgrounds—my fast-paced startup environment and his detail-rich design agency world—led to divergent visions for the company. Realizing we were trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, we chose to prioritize our friendship over forcing a fit. This tough but wise decision prevented potential conflict and preserved our relationship, allowing us to part ways amicably and avoid a dead end. Over two decades in startups has taught me the value of data and rapid market feedback in achieving product-market fit. At GrandTour, we hit a scalability barrier, prompting a strategic pivot. This shift clarified my direction, aligning closer to my vision and mission. Now, I'm embarking on a new phase: bringing this pivot to life and continuously gathering market data and feedback. This iterative process is vital, as many great companies initially embarked on very different paths before finding their successful formulas. To my fellow founders navigating your own challenging journeys, maintain your resolve and keep iterating. Persevere through the hurdles, and you'll find your breakthrough. Onwards and upwards!"

Welcome back to this week's edition of the #TuesdayTuneUp sponsored by SUN - We Grow You. ! Today's title is "Pre Planning Isn't Just For Vacations Anymore!" We spend a lot of time planning every day, ie what to eat, 🥩 🥗 kids activities, 🏂 for vacations 🏖 - all important things! But founders, you need to know that planning for that next call with your prospect is just as important and will drive more of a return on your investment 💰 than nailing that perfect dinner tonight! There is so much information available on our prospects, there is no reason not to be prepared! So, a few quick, easy things to do… 1) Don’t just research the company but research the person and their roles - what are they responsible for and what are their challenges? 👀 2) Know what you want to accomplish, ie is this an intro call, have you done discovery or are we closing? Do you know and, just importantly, do they know? 💡 3) Be a good story teller! Have something compelling to share (early!!) in your call, it’s cool if they can get emotionally involved in what you have to say. 📕 4) Be prepared for objections. They’ll be a “first time” you’ve heard something but the second time it’s on you to be ready! And, if you don’t know the answer to something, say “that’s a great question and I’ll have to get back to you”. Nothing will damage your reputation and destroy any trust you’ve built more quickly than giving a half-baked, wrong answer. 🤨 The month of June brings about the end of the school year and this week’s shoutout 📣 goes to all the TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS AND SUPPORT STAFF who teach and take care of our kids throughout the year. 👩👦👦Co-founder Appreciation Post 👩👦👦 Starting a business is a wild ride, and anyone who’s been on the journey knows it’s not for the faint of heart. But one thing I’ve realized is how important it is to have the right people by your side. Not every startup has co-founders, and not every founder needs one—but I honestly can’t imagine building Blanka without Doug and Adam. I want to take a moment to highlight why our dynamic is so important: 1️⃣ Emotional Support: Through the highs and lows, we’ve always been there for each other. There’s something powerful about having two people you trust deeply to lean on, especially when the road gets tough. We’ve supported each other through countless challenges, and it’s made all the difference. 2️⃣ Shared Passion: We’ve been through it all—days when we couldn’t afford to pay ourselves (yes, I moved back in with my parents 😅). But through it all, we kept pushing forward because we knew we were onto something special. That shared drive has been key in our success. 3️⃣ Better Decision Making: I actually love when we don’t agree on something—it means we’re able to have meaningful, open discussions that bring in different perspectives. These debates only strengthen our decision-making, and I’m grateful for that. It’s never easy, but it’s always worth it. 4️⃣ We Have Fun!: Running a startup can be intense, but we always find ways to have fun together. We spend a ridiculous amount of time together (aka weekend hangs and vacations), and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. As many of you know, our relationship is a bit unique—Doug is one of my best friends (the "brother" I never asked for), Adam is my husband, and Doug and Adam are also best friends and former co-workers. There’s a ton of history here, and I honestly believe it’s made us a stronger team. So, to any founders—or future founders—wondering whether you need a co-founder: it’s not a necessity, but wow, has it made a huge difference in our journey ✨✨✨
