What do you really want?
A simple question for some deep thinking before the new year.
Take a moment during the holidays to:
Pause
Breathe
& Reflect
Happy Holidays!
December offers us a unique gift: the permission to pause. 🎁
Between the festive gatherings and year-end deadlines, December can feel like a sprint to the finish line. But as our friend Tracy Sinclair, MCC, reminds us, now is a great time to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters to you.
How are you planning to use this "pocket of pause" in your own practice and life?
Do you find yourself giving up this time of year?
It’s really common.
The weather is horrible, the mornings, and evenings are dark, we’re coming towards the end of the year. You start thinking, ohh stuff it I’ll wait until January.
But STOP, we still have a significant chunk of the year left.
You CAN still enjoy the festive season, have a great Christmas and maintain the results you’ve gained in this last month of the year.
We have our Oakman Coaching Christmas Masterclass coming up on the 21st November for this exact reason.
If you join now, you could be part of this and learn exactly how to manage the festive period better and get results.
Don’t let this be another December that you pile on the pounds.
Don’t throw in the towel just yet, you can still put yourself in a great position ready for January. Plus learn the skills that will mean you can handle any social occasion and still get results.
If you want to be part of our Christmas Masterclass and finish this year in a better position…

One thing you *must* pack for the festive season.
Created by Dr Stewart Desson and I, we had a lot of fun creating this.
It's an oldie, and a goodie.
Tune in and discover:
1. The 1 thing to pack for the holidays
2. Our definition of it, what it means.
3. Three top tips of how to put it into action with your family and friends.
Let me know what you think, what else would you pack for the festive season?
🎄 December reminder 🎄
You cannot do all of the things for all of the people.
That’s true at any time of year but ESPECIALLY at this time of year. It’s totally unrealistic to get everything finished before the festive break. It’s a recipe for overwhelm and sickness when you do finally sit down for Christmas dinner.
From a work point of view, take stock now and start to manage your own expectations of yourself. It can help to see the holiday not as an end point, but as a pause point that can be restarted again in January. Here’s how:
🎄 Write a list of everything you think you need to do
🎄 Put all the actions into three categories: must do, would be nice to do, can wait until January
🎄 Delegate as many of the “must do’s” as possible
🎄 Schedule the rest of the “must do’s” into your own calendar, and only tackle the “would be nice to do’s” if there is any space left
Hopefully that will help you manage your own expectations of what you can do in the time available.
If you can, leave your last afternoon clear for any unexpected “must do’s”. If you’re lucky there won’t be too many of those and you can start early on the mulled wine!

EVERY. SINGLE. THING. I. NEED. TO. DO (or Remember). GOES. INTO. MY. DIARY.
My digital diary (combined with the technique of time blocking) truly is my SUPERPOWER!
It's my second brain, and I couldn't live without it in both my personal life and my businesses.
It's all about being my future best friend and planning out exactly what I need to do to live to my core values.
Here is a simple example relevant to the festive season...every year when I pack away all my Christmas decorations I create a calendar event letting myself know where I have hidden the dreaded elves for next year.
Do you use a digital calendar in your personal life?
Have you tried time blocking?

🎉 Pause, Reflect, and Dream Together This Festive Season! 🌟
As the year draws to a close, let’s take a moment to celebrate how far we’ve come as families. ❤️ We’ve created a simple 2024 Reflection Sheet designed to guide meaningful conversations and moments of connection during this special time.
📝 You can:
✨ Reflect on just one question that resonates most,
✨ Or complete them all—whatever feels right for your family!
💭 This is your chance to pause, appreciate, and dream about the year ahead. Whether it’s around the dinner table, before bedtime, or during a cozy afternoon, let these prompts inspire your family to share and grow closer.
🎄 Let’s turn reflection into a family tradition that sparks joy, gratitude, and intention. DM in the comments with "Reflection" if you are going make it part of your festive season.

Here is my thought when I saw this first time.
1. It is a word game and all those numbers have a length of 26. By coincidence? Not. Must be a relationship between the English alphabet and the words we want to solve.
2. Those number looks very familiar, I have seen them so many times before, Let's ask AI about them. Here is the answer I got from the AI.
The number 3.14159265358477623836260388 appears to be a numerical approximation of 𝜋...The sequence 3.14159265358477623836260388 seems to be either a rounded, truncated, or slightly inaccurate approximation of 𝜋
3. Typos? Aha, not. you can't make typos to all those 3 numbers in one question. Those errors (differences) are the information (keys) the person want to give us as a hint.
4. Try all combinations of the differences and positions in different way to see if we can get some English words that make sense, particularly related to Christmas as this the game is designed for.
With the festive season upon us, we thought we'd gift you a treat 🎁!
Time to get your family and friends together for a festive puzzle. There are three words wrapped up in the numbers below. Can you find them? Tag someone who might be able to solve this.

How amazing would it be if you could make small lifestyles choices in December, enjoy those festive treats, feel prepared for January NOT anxious?
I’ll answer that, fantastic!
You know what happened last year…& the year before? You know you made the same excuse, didn’t you?
You’re sick of making the same mistakes but have no idea why your making them & wondering why you’re in the exact same position each year…
Maybe you’re in a pretty good place but need that extra little push & accountability to become bulletproof.
It’s all about building confidence & knowing you’ve built smart habits in December ready to smash January. Yes it can be done without restricting all those festive treats.
💪🏼Comment below “VAMOS” & let’s put together a bespoke roadmap of how your going to get there.
