Turning challenges into alignment... my journey to 'Design for Good'
The past year has been one of the most transformative in my career. Moving away from We Are Fine, where I worked across various sectors & clients, to establishing bytoby, a brand dedicated to purposeful, people & planet-focused design, has been both exhilarating, deeply challenging & a little scary!
At first, saying no to projects I would have once jumped at felt counterintuitive and honestly, it was really hard. I questioned if narrowing my focus to align with my ‘Design for Good’ ethos was the right move. After all, there were opportunities I could have taken to keep things ticking over.
But deep down, I knew that committing to a focused purpose was the only way I wanted to move forward.
Fast forward to today, and I can feel the momentum shifting. Over the last couple of months, I’ve had project inquiries that perfectly align with my values and mission. These are projects that are meaningful, impactful, and carry messages that deserve to be amplified.
By choosing purpose over convenience, I’ve opened the door to working with brands that truly inspire me and I couldn’t be more excited for 2025.
If you’re a brand looking to make a positive impact or share a story that matters, I’d love to connect, book in some time for a chat https://shorturl.at/E73jK Together, we can create design that not only looks good but does good.
