I had the best pleasure to join the best team in the Real Estate Club for the first semester. Together, we made the first Real Estate Conference in SUNY Oswego!! 🥇 Cheers to our first and the first of many that are yet to come! 📸 Video by Mohammad Hammad
🎉 Thank You for an Incredible Event! 🎉 The SUNY Oswego Real Estate Conference was a resounding success, and it’s all thanks to YOU—our speakers, attendees, and amazing team who made it happen. 🙌 Our goal was to create a space where connections were made, knowledge was shared, and inspiration sparked, and we’re proud to say we achieved that. From panel discussions to networking opportunities, every moment reminded us why events like these are so important for our community. A special thank you to our speakers for their invaluable insights and to everyone who joined us in making this event one to remember. Whether you left with a new connection, fresh ideas, or a renewed passion for real estate, we’re so glad you were part of it. 🎥 Check out the highlights in this video and relive some of the amazing moments we shared! To clarify a few things re 'The Hull Business Expo' we have been asked - #TheyAskYouAnswer by Marcus Sheridan 1- If its Full can I still walk around. Answer: YES - Its only the stands that are full. Everyone is welcome to visit Princes Quay Shopping Centre on the 10th April and show your support. 2. - Is it just for The Business Culture HEY members. Answer: NO. The expo is open to all business and people in Hull & East Yorkshire and The Humber. 3. Do I need to register and/or buy a ticket to attend. Answer: NO. You do not have to register - the event is FREE to attend. Just come along and support the exhibitors and meet new people. 4. Why should I attend - what's in it for me - is there a free lunch. Answer: WOW - I really did not get this question - What's in it for me! If that's all your thinking about, then its probably best you stay away. The expo is a great chance for us all to Connect, engage and support local businesses, its people and the City of Hull. Please spread the word - the more people know about it the more successful it will be. And if you're not attending #GiveYourHeadAWobble - a great advert currently going out by our headline partner Hull's 107FM - Pete Mills and Burnsy.

Looking forward to speaking at this session tomorrow with Women In Carbon on Legal and Voluntary Frameworks in Carbon Markets with a powerhouse team of women: Varnika Chawla, Ruth Knox, Basak Odemis and Belinda Ellington. So much to say in this space between increased national regulation, risk mitigation, A6, and convergence of compliance and voluntary markets, we'll probably need a second session to thrash out all the issues... #Carbon #VCM #carbonmarkets #netzero #ParisAgreement Philip Lee LLP

Someone recently asked me, “What are the biggest misconceptions about hosting an event in Las Vegas?” One myth is that attendees will skip sessions because they’re too busy partying all night. But here’s the truth: Las Vegas actually tends to draw even more attendees to your event. Sure, people might go out and enjoy the nightlife after your event, but that’s true no matter where you host—whether it’s Nashville, Orlando, Dallas, or New York. So how can you tackle the “party hurdle” that some corporate events might face? Be smart about it: 👉 Plan strategically: Host your welcome reception on the first night, but keep it brief. 👉 Design your schedule: Give attendees some free time to explore and enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer. You will end up saving some money and you're able to take advantage of all this incredible and dynamic city has to offer!
