“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill
As part of the team iProbono, I’m proud to support their mission of advancing social justice worldwide. iProbono empowers individuals to access their rights, strengthens civil society, and advocates for equal justice—building the foundation for just and equitable societies.
In today’s climate, as minority rights are increasingly under threat, the need for organizations like iProbono has never been greater. One of our current initiatives is the Child Rights Program in Sri Lanka, where we aim to raise $30,000 to help children remain in loving family environments.
Sri Lanka is experiencing a devastating crisis: economic hardships are forcing thousands of families to place their children into institutional care—not because they are orphans, but because their families cannot afford to care for them. In 2019 alone, 92.1% of children placed in care had at least one living parent.
With your support, iProbono can:
• Advocate for stronger social protection policies
• Provide families with the tools and resources needed to overcome economic challenges
• Promote accountability in childcare systems by prioritizing family-centred solutions
Every contribution makes a difference. If you’re able, please consider donating.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more about iProbono or discuss how we can collaborate to support these vital causes.
Thousands of children in Sri Lanka are placed in institutional care despite having at least one living parent. These children are separated by the socio-economic distress and need your support to be reunited with their families.

Honestly, if I was unaware of their responsibilities, I’d assume they were supervising kindergartens. At the very least, by the end of the year, they could release a brief report outlining the country’s key issues regarding safety and protection—highlighting shortages, concerns, and accomplishments. It’s truly unbelievable. This is precisely why I’ve repeatedly emphasized that all agencies dealing with intelligence and finances must operate completely independently of the government.
