Or even by a small team of volunteers each week - like a group of friends that want to volunteer together, doing something fun and tangible? Any chance I can get a certificate of thanks that also mentions the hours I've done (it'll be good to show at job interviews) OR what about? Recently we held a wonderful event and raised £7,000!! Truthfully, every single penny is really needed. The event looks glamorous and yes it was - beautiful clothes, wonderful community of women and an incredible setting at Danesfield House Hotel and Spa. Behind all the glitz and glam though, what we do is simple, we empower women back into work through interview coaching and dressing. I'm extremely proud to be their EDI Trustee. This is about helping women regain their confidence and remind them of their self worth. Yes we do help a large proportion of women from under represented groups but contrary to popular belief, these issues effect all of us to some degree at some point in our lives 💥 When you feel like that, you need someone who is in your corner and is willing you to succeed and that's what we do! The ripple effect of a woman getting a job can't be underestimated - the positive impact on her family, her local community and ultimately her dignity and self worth is huge. Our service genuinely changes lives. 📌 This is a personal plea to any Thames Valley / Berkshire / Hampshire / Oxfordshire based businesses who would like to know more about what we do and support women - we need more funds to reach more women - no matter how big or small. I recently replied to a lovely email enquiery from a charity to cover their event next year, and thought let's just put this out into Linkedin and see what other businesses and Charities are interested in the economics of event photography coverage, and what kind of ROI they think they might get to make our service a "no brainer". Anthony "Thank you for getting in touch, We can provide a range of services and galleries for your event which come with a range of costs from a single photographer covering the course and putting the images online some days later, to a team covering multiple points and finishes and providing a gallery as fast as is possible to get the images onto the internet and individually searchable by participant. Prices range depending on the levels of service wanted. We do have a minimum fee associated with covering events which may need to be borne in mind. So perhaps more of a chat about the sort of fulfilment you would like for your event would be good ? What we do know is that other charities that use our services get 60% of their fundraising before the day of the event, and for the 48hrs after the event – with the use of live photos as proof – can usually gain an additional 20%, then have two weeks of nothing, and then from the month after - over the next two months – fundraising raises that last 20%. Whilst we don’t claim the whole of the 20% rise on the weekend of the event, nor the whole final 20% of the months afterwards – we know from justgiving research that they estimate the overall fundraising is increased by 13% if people use photos of their challenge and achievement. So – somewhat logically – ensuring that your participants have images to share and use to use as proof – participant proof photography is one of the most important costs of donation to cover – as it usually helps make a return of 10 times the investment or more. Additionally of course – free event photos with charity branding will remind people in a years time to get entered into next years event, provide a bond of attachment to the charity – and provide a significant opportunity to get repeat entries for your challenge – as well as getting friends of friends involved – which is the cheapest and most effective form of marketing and getting repeat event entries and just building charity awareness. So – if you know what your overall fundraising is likely to be per person – that should help you to work out what budget you might have for a cost effective photography service that does deliver a significant benefit for you!
