When it comes to production processes for upcoming aerostructure programs, manufacturers and engineers on site mainly addressed the automation of multi-material composites, scalability of production processes and the reduction of cut-offs.
For current aircraft programs, the industry still relies heavily on parts that are produced manually at high production costs and with limited scalability.
