Listen and be the judge regarding these five "stolen songs." There is sometimes merely a fine line distancing a new work of art from one that came before it. When is part of a song so unique that to replicate it elsewhere becomes plagiarism? What about the "sampling" frenzy that began in years past? And in which direction are we being taken with art and music being generated via Artificial Intelligence? Will all human credit be properly attributed for "amalgamated" works, and if so, in what manner? The artistic and legal worlds may be colliding with more frequency. https://lnkd.in/eTQkjjSq

Piath is us... Piath Xiuxiueig 10.012 Example content of subscribers group Aphorism "Vowels and consonants, woven together, birth a symphony of meaning." Explanation In the ancient civilization of Piath, language was not merely a tool for communication, but a form of artistry, a means to convey the deepest emotions and most profound thoughts. The Piath people understood that words, like musical notes, could be combined in myriad ways to create a symphony of meaning. The Piath language is rich in tonal variations and phoneme combinations, allowing for a depth and nuance unparalleled in any other civilization. Each vowel and consonant is a note in this symphony, and when woven together, they create a melody that resonates with meaning. Consider the Piath phrase, "Ai-eh-na, oo-ee-ah, uh-oh-ee." On the surface, it may appear as a simple sequence of sounds. But to the Piath people, it is a poignant aphorism, a reminder of the power of language. "Ai-eh-na" represents the vowels, the foundation of any language, the canvas upon which meaning is painted. "oo-ee-ah" symbolizes the consonants, the colors that give language its richness and depth. "uh-oh-ee" is the symphony itself, the harmonious blend of vowels and consonants that births meaning. So, the next time you speak, remember the Piath aphorism. Each word you utter is a note in a symphony, a brushstroke on a canvas. Use them wisely, and you can paint a picture of understanding, of emotion, of connection.

A quick literature review of "item number" ... And "item song" ... But a confusion comes up ... When someone says ... "She/he is an item" ... is it self sufficient ... without a song or a number...? Is "item number" same as "item song" ... Out of the three ... which got defined first ... originated first... Many questions ... few answers . 1. Akshay Kumar tried well in the colloquial usages of the term "item" ... number ... girl ... standalone... "Item number/item girl Akshaya Kumar South Asia: Journal of South Asian Studies 40 (2), 338-341, 2017 ‘Item’is another one of the many English words that have acquired a life of their own as they are rendered in Indian languages. By itself, the item, as an object, puts a mere playful spin over the routine act of objectification. But it can also be used as an insult during banter, as in ‘bahut bade item ho yaar!’(‘you are such a fool!’). An ‘item girl’, however, is a female person whose personhood has been itemised towards a particular role—that of a seductress who could make one exclaim ‘kya item hai!’(‘what an item!’). The ‘item girl’is then a reference that often applies to, but may exceed, the women who perform ‘item numbers’(dance routines) in Indian films. https://lnkd.in/gEVkPVZK 2. Voices of Meenakumari: Sound, meaning, and self-fashioning in performances of an item number Amanda Weidman South Asian Popular Culture 10 (3), 307-318, 2012 This article considers how ‘item numbers,’ song sequences that serve as vehicles for sexualized female performance in popular Indian cinema, are re-animated through embodied – danced and sung – performances outside the films themselves. I examine a single song sequence from a 2009 Tamil film and two kinds of re-animations of it: first, the song as conceived and sung by the original playback singer in performance outside the context of the film, and second, as performed by young women in TV shows and in live stage shows. These performances participate in complex projects of self-fashioning that exceed the conventions by which female voices are given meaning within the Tamil culture industry. https://lnkd.in/gzNUXHgR Other interesting ones are Silpa Mukherjee https://lnkd.in/gecHQtyW A new dimension is brought in ... Imagine now that you are an empty vessel. Now imagine that you are presented 'reality' by an entity, let's say a 'person'. This 'person' tells you everything from what is nice and pleasant, what music and art is good, what language (words, definitions, etc...) you should use, what is right and wrong. Your whole existence is based on this one 'persons' input. Over time, all this input becomes the road map to your perceptions. How do you know this 'person' has been 'truthful' to you?

1. A few musicians I know quietly look down at me for not writing my own stuff. Others for performing my own weird arrangements of those tunes. It's true: Note-for-note covers are not for me. 2. I believe you do homage to the music you love by *playing* it and filtering it through your own style and taste. 3. George Steiner writes: "An interpreter is a decipherer and communicator of meanings. He is a translator between langauges, between cultures and between performative conventions. He is, in essence, an executant, one who 'acts out' the material before him so as to give it intelligible life." That's the way I think of my music. I seek to recognize my debts and honor my influences. 4. In the video below, I'm run Nick Lowe's "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding" through my idiosyncratic stylistic filter (which has been influenced, of course, by Little Feat, Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, etc.). 5. What do you think? One thing's for sure: the "piano" setting on my keyboard is a lousy substitute for the real thing... but you gotta play the instrument in front of you.
