I can’t thank CRN enough for staying the course and sharing the frustrations my fellow MSPs have had about the NCE rollout. The ability to transfer subscriptions is just one example nobody at Microsoft thought about when they created NCE. The program should be scrapped, and the old system reinstated. The old system added value to MSPs and gave them the flexibility to support their clients and be ambassadors for more Microsoft adoption. I’m glad that Microsoft is making moves to correct some of the issues, but the program is so bad they can’t fix them all. Microsoft, if you want to talk about the reality of NCE and what it's done to our ecosystem, DM me. I can share real-life vs. boardroom perspectives. Sadly, I didn’t know how good we had it with the old partner program until you took it away. Please, Mom/Dad, we have been in timeout long enough. The lesson has been learned. This quarter, Microsoft plans to allow solution providers in its Cloud Solution Provider program to transfer end customer new commerce experience subscriptions from one partner to another midterm, eliminating one of the biggest issues that has continued to affect some solution providers since the rollout of the controversial NCE program.
