"Happy Holidays! As 2024 draws to a close and we all enjoy some well-earned rest and relaxation I wanted to thank the Qwist family; our customers, colleagues, partners, advisors, investors and suppliers. It has been a monumental year for our business with our transformation from two distinct businesses to the new Qwist Group, rationalisation of our product set and massively improved performance. We launched new products, grew customer relationships, welcomed new colleagues and rationalised our operations. I’m immensely grateful and proud to be part of this exceptional team and, with the work that’s been done this year, know that we are now positioned for an even stronger performance in the new year. I look forward to working with you all again next year and wish you a very Happy Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa." ~ Matt Colebourne, CEO at Qwist

“It is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.” Thanks Pejman Milani for sharing the quote, it reminds me about the Tedtalk by David Steindl Rast about power of gratitude. This powerful statement flips the conventional thinking about happiness on its head. True happiness doesn’t come from external achievements or circumstances—it comes from a mindset of gratitude. When you pause to appreciate what you have, even in difficult times, you shift your focus from what’s missing to what’s present. Gratitude fosters contentment, builds stronger relationships, and creates a sense of abundance. It’s a habit that transforms your outlook on life. Happiness isn’t the cause of gratitude; gratitude is the foundation of happiness. Start with gratitude, and joy will follow. Here is the link for that beautiful talk - https://lnkd.in/dgiDidYE #gratitude #thankful

As someone who works for a US-based company but grew up in India, this time of year always feels a little extra meaningful. Thanksgiving isn’t a festival I knew much about growing up, but over the years, it’s become something I’ve really come to appreciate. It’s not just about the food (though that’s definitely a big part 🤤), but about pausing to be thankful for everything and everyone in your life. It reminds me of Lohri, a festival back home where we gather around a bonfire with loved ones, celebrate the harvest, and express gratitude for life’s blessings. The similarities between the two festivals are hard to miss—and honestly, they make me love them both even more. For me, these two celebrations have become moments to reflect on everything I have to be thankful for—both personally and at work. Thanksgiving connects me to the culture I work in, while Lohri keeps me rooted in my own. Together, they remind me to appreciate the big and small blessings in life. This year, I’m feeling especially grateful for: - My family, who are my biggest source of strength - My team, who make work exciting and rewarding - The opportunities I’ve had to learn, grow, and connect across cultures. Lohri and Thanksgiving may come from different parts of the world, but for me, they share the same beautiful reminder: Stop. Look around. Be thankful for the people, moments, and experiences that make life special. What are you feeling thankful for this year? #Gratitude #Thanksgiving #Lohri #Blessings #Reflection

𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢: 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 As we celebrate Navratri, a festival symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, it also offers valuable lessons for teams in the workplace: 🔸 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲: Navratri is celebrated in diverse ways across regions, but the spirit remains the same. Similarly, a team thrives when each member brings unique strengths while working toward a shared goal. 🔸 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: The festival spans nine nights, each one signifying a different form of strength. Like in our work, every challenge is an opportunity to persevere and emerge stronger. 🔸 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲: Navratri balances devotion, joy, and festivity. In teams, striking the right balance between hard work, creativity, and celebration can fuel continuous growth. 🔸 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥: Just as Navratri symbolizes new beginnings, it’s a reminder for teams to stay adaptable, constantly learn, and embrace change. As we celebrate this vibrant festival, let’s take a moment to reflect on these values and carry them forward into our work. #Navratri2024 #TeamWork #GrowthMindset #Leadership

More than one project a day and 240+ in just 181 days! This is enough reason to celebrate, and here’s what made it all possible. With the first half of the year gone by, all I can think about is what we have achieved here at ABRA. The dedication of the team has shown in the form of innovation par excellence. Probably one of the biggest accomplishments for our team is that we have continuously delivered high-stakes, complex projects in record time—doing what normally would take months to complete, in a matter of weeks. 240+ successful projects in the last six months alone speak to our relentless drive, unmatched expertise and will to deliver. Amidst the hustle of projects, we took time off to celebrate our success. Here's a peek into some of the unforgettable moments that remind us why we're all in this together: Culinary Connections: From a gourmet team lunch to a heartwarming Ramadan Iftar, we savoured moments of togetherness over amazing food. Because nothing unites quite like sharing a meal! Fun-filled Festivities: Valentine's Day sweetness, the excitement of ABRA Fest, and the thrill of our Cricket Tournament—each event strengthened our bonds, sparked creativity and showcased our incredible team spirit. These celebrations add a secret sauce to our vibrant culture! The second half of 2024 comes with even more exciting challenges and achievements. We look forward to pushing the limits and creating extraordinary experiences together! What's your favourite way to celebrate team achievements? #TeamCulture #WorkplaceCelebration #AbraInnovates
