Had a blast with Sales Assembly & Jen Allen-Knuth this week in NYC.
New York just happens to be my absolute favorite city, so that didn't hurt. Not to mention the fact that Matt Green has a knack for choosing GREAT dinner spots.
While the food (and the wine!) were great, the real highlight was the caliber of the people in the room and the mix of great content and insightful discussion around building pipeline.
We talked about what's working, and where we're seeing challenges.
We of course talked about technology, and the various shifts that have happened in the last few years and the ways that AI specifically is impacting our pipeline build efforts.
We asked questions about how to better leverage AI to accelerate greatness vs laziness...and the fact that both are absolutely happening.
I enjoyed having both Will & Lily at my table, talking about ways to harness data to build the right account level foundations then how AI can make us smarter at building on top of that foundation.
Also loved talking GTM Enablement with Katie Drury & unpacking the evolving role of the SDR with Molly McElgunn & Victoria Loewenstern. Some absolute powerhouse females around our table, to say the least!
I even managed to sneak in more than a few chats around interactive demos and the evolving role of product-led across a growing number of GTM motions, which anyone that knows me knows I LOVE talking about 😉
TLDR - make sure you're getting in a room or around a table with other GTM leaders on a regular basis. Then be brave enough to be honest and authentic. You'll not only find some of the answers you're looking for but will most likely walk away inspired and just a little bit more energized.
Oh and maybe try to remember to take pictures...because that I did NOT remember to do this week!
