Even the most established, household-name brands need a branding refresh every 7 to 10 years. Smaller brands benefit from even more frequent glow-ups. The trick is to recognize and retain your core brand elements—the ones that speak directly to your unique value—and rebuild around them using the insights and data you’ve earned through recent campaigns. What is your target audience responding to, and what’s leaving them cold? What do they see in other brands that they’re struggling to find in yours? When we work with clients on a rebrand, we also put our industry connections to good use, polling folks in various verticals on what works for them, what target audiences are looking for, and what tends to fall flat. We employ data along with internal and external subject matter experts to craft a complete identity that speaks to a broadened audience without compromising the heart and soul—and the equity—of the brand legacy. We’ve done this for companies looking to launch into new spaces, companies looking for a refresh and companies asking us to bring disparate brands together cohesively within a united.identity. What can we do for you to bring your branding to the next level? When it comes to your branding, would you rather… 1. Wing it and just put things out there into the world without a plan, strategy or focus on what you’re putting across to your audience. 2. Put the work in which will take more time and investment to begin with but in the long term reap more of the rewards you’re looking for when it comes to attracting the right clients with a strategy that makes you feel confident in what you’re doing on a daily/weekly/monthly business? When it comes down to brand strategy, for a lot of business owners, it’s often a ‘nice to have’ after thought, rather than part of the ‘big vision plan’. It’s my mission to help female business owners see that with a brand strategy in place they’ll begin to reap the rewards like… 💙More clarity around what their branding and messaging is all about 💙A much better picture of the content they need to be putting out into the world on a regular basis 💙The fact that this will help them to have a huge bank of ideas so that they never run out of things to say 💙More confidence to show up and shout about what they do 💙The ability to sell their offers to the right people A brand they love and believe in and want to shout from the rooftops about on a daily basis… Where are you at with your brand strategy? DM me to find out how I can help you out the simplest strategy together do you can start to reap the rewards too! 💙🤩 #brandstrategy #brandstrategist #brandingdesign #branddesigner

I recently emphasized to my team the importance of understanding our target audience and defining our brand voice accordingly. As marketers, we must make intentional choices about who we target and who we don't. It's about finding that perfect fit and resonating with our audience on a deep level. However, it's equally important to recognize that by defining our voice, we also make the conscious choice to exclude certain groups. And that's perfectly fine. Friday's events have provided a powerful reminder of just how crucial this is in effective marketing. On Friday, there was a minor earthquake in New York City. After receiving all of the “are you okay?” messages and learning that no one was hurt, I immediately called our eCommerce Manager and asked her to send the attached text message campaign to people in the NYC area (which she made sound even better). The majority of the responses that we received was positive, with customers appreciating the light-hearted nature of our message, and some even sharing it on social media. However, there were a few individuals who felt that we didn't take the matter seriously enough. This situation serves as a great testimony to our commitment to defining our brand voice and identity. While we value all feedback, it's important to recognize that not everyone will resonate with our messaging or sense of humor. And that's perfectly okay. As a brand, we aim to create strong connections with OUR target audience, those who truly understand and appreciate our values, messaging, and style. We believe in being authentic and staying true to ourselves, even if it means not appealing to everyone. Having a distinct brand voice and identity is essential for standing out in a crowded marketplace. It's about finding our tribe - the customers who appreciate our unique approach. We recognize that not everyone will be an ideal fit for our brand. And that's fine, because we believe in building meaningful relationships with those who relate to our humor, and style. In the pursuit of building a strong brand, it's essential to embrace the fact that not everyone will get your tone. To build a strong brand - you need to focus on connecting with those who do. (Also, working with an awesome eCommerce team that makes any concept better helps! Addison Trine, William Ouadaoui, Josie Hand, and Abigail Zwirecki 💪) #JITM #DTC #NYCearthquake

Still following along? Last time, we talked about building a brand strategy. But today, let’s dive into something even more important: Understanding your audience. Now, you might be wondering: Why is understanding your audience so crucial? Well, if you're starting a new brand—or rebranding—this step can make or break your business. Think about it: If you don’t truly know who you're talking to, how can your brand stand out? How can it connect? Understanding your audience goes beyond just knowing their age or where they live. It’s about knowing their problems, desires, and values. This is where your brand’s message begins to resonate. So, let me ask you: Do you really know what your audience wants right now? Are you just guessing, or are you basing it on research? Here's the deal: Investing in market research is not just a cost—it’s an investment in the future of your brand. You can’t afford to guess. Here's why: Target the right people: Without market research, you’re guessing at best. How can you be sure you're speaking to the right audience? Research helps you pinpoint who your audience really is and what they need. Stay relevant: Consumer behavior is always changing. What worked last year, may not work today. With market research, you can keep up with trends and adapt accordingly. Make smarter decisions: When you understand your audience, every step you take—whether it’s marketing, product development, or messaging—becomes far more effective. It’s simple: If you don’t understand your audience, your brand might not survive. And that's why we’re here. We dive deep into your audience’s needs and translate those insights into a brand strategy that works. Here’s how we can help you: Market Research: We’ll uncover the insights that help you understand exactly who your customers are.
