However, it cleverly turned out to be a strategic marketing campaign. This creative approach showcases the brand's Sherwanis and Kurtas for the wedding season under the guise of a missing person Ad, blending humour and promotion seamlessly. In the realm of Public Relations and Advertising, creativity knows no bounds. This is a great example of how a well-executed campaign can transform a simple Ad into something remarkable, combining humour and emotional appeal to capture attention effectively. It's a testament to the power of innovative marketing strategies in making brands stand out. Hats off to the team responsible for this ingenious advertising concept! The customer is your wife. She knows your tells. She can spot baloney from a mile away. If you break her trust, she will go ice cold. Her eyes will pass over you like you do not exist. The customer is your wife. She is the backbone of what you are building - your home is its own micro-economic unit. Her contributions may seem small, but they add up. If she stops, the entire system collapses. The customer is your wife. She manages the budget. She knows how to get the most out of her rupee/dollar. She will measure the worth of your words against your actions. If you give her reason to resent you or stop trusting you, she will value herself first. If you cheat on her (false advertising - infidelity in terms of not delivering what was promised), she will find out. Then, she will tell her friends. Your brand will plummet to a new low. She knows how to build relationships - and she knows how to cut herself off from harmful ones. She protects her house - and if you deliver what you promised, she protects your brand's reputation. I am sure Oglivy had more nuance than that. His work is a product of his time. I am actually trying to remember this as I write content and copy for Bling Store #marketing #DavidOgilvy #lessonsfromwork #GenZatwork #customercentric #writing #storytellingforB2B #BlingStore

"The customer is not a moron. She is your wife." Famous words by David Ogilvy. Must confess that I'm still not sure about the essence of this remark. I've discussed it with my friends in Marketing. Some said it was a sexist take and others believed that Ogilvy was encouraging ad professionals to understand the customer better. Would be happy if someone could shed light on this. #Advertising

Variety has been posting “Actors on Actors” episodes like their lives depend on it, And I believe I know why! We are currently in the era of “Relatable Marketing”, Which essentially means that the marketing that gets the most positive results, Is the marketing that people can relate to and feel seen by. It’s no secret that Traditional Celebrity Culture is dead, So I believe that Variety has been pumping out these Actors on Actors episodes in an attempt to make A-List Celebrities seem more relatable to the average person! But that’s just my take! What’s yours? #Variety #ActorsonActors #Press #PR #Marketing #Media #News #Trends #RelatableMarketing #MarketingStrategies #ViralMarketing #Celebrities #SocialMedia #Strategy

Why did one of the finest minds in advertising place such a high priority on humor? Because laughter breaks down barriers and lifts spirits. David Ogilvy once said, "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞." Humor resonates with people more than nearly any other type of advertisement. An idea that appears ludicrous at first may turn out to be the most recalled campaign ever. So the next time you brainstorm, start with what makes you smile. It could be the key to engaging with your audience more effectively. In advertising and public relations, a laugh is might be more valuable than a thousand pitches. #AdvertisingWisdom #DavidOgilvy #MarketingTips.

BOO! 🎃👻 #HALLOWEEN is here, and PR pros know that a good strategy is like the perfect Halloween costume — it takes a blend of creativity, careful planning, and a lot of attention to detail! In #PR, we’re constantly brewing up ways to make our clients shine, so here are a few PR tricks to pull out of the cauldron this season: 🍬 Stay Treat-Worthy: Craft pitches that will give journalists a story that will make audiences crave more. Think about the sweet spots and what will resonate with target audiences. 🕸️ Weave a Strong Web: Just like the strongest spider webs, media relationships are built over time. And the first step in making those connections? A solid, targeted media list! 👻 Face Your Fears: Don't be afraid to reach out to media and meet up, face-to-face. While online access makes work convenient, nothing beats the impact of in-person interactions to build stronger relationships and lasting impressions. Happy Halloween from JSA to everyone who makes PR a “boo-tiful” field to be in! #SpookySeason #Storytelling #Media
