Psalms 133:1 (NIV) says: "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" This verse highlights the beauty and value of unity among people, especially within a community or family of faith. Here's a closer look at its meaning and implications: 1. Celebration of Harmony: This verse emphasizes that unity among believers is something both "good" (morally right) and "pleasant" (enjoyable and satisfying). It reflects God’s design for His people to live in peace and cooperation rather than division or conflict. 2. Strength in Community: When people come together with a shared purpose and mutual love, it strengthens the community as a whole. Unity creates an environment where people can support, uplift, and encourage one another, fostering a sense of belonging. 3. Reflecting God’s Love: This unity is often seen as a reflection of God's character, showing His love and harmony in the relationships of His people. It implies that living in unity honors God, as it reflects His desire for humanity. 4. Blessings of Unity: The rest of Psalms 133 describes unity as bringing blessings similar to "precious oil" and "dew," symbols of blessing and refreshment. This suggests that God blesses and strengthens communities that live in unity, bringing them peace and prosperity. In summary, Psalms 133:1 teaches that unity among believers is pleasing to God and beneficial to the community. It calls for an intentional pursuit of peace, understanding, and togetherness, as these qualities embody the life God intends for His people.

#lettinggo Luke 5:4-5 (NIV) - “When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” It made no sense humanly speaking for Simon to let down the nets since they had worked so hard with nothing to show for it that night. But after Jesus told him to let go and let down the nets, Simon did just that. And what happened next? The nets were so full of fish that they broke. By letting go, trusting Jesus, God provided. Letting go and trusting God is hard for humans because we have a trust issue. We want to see and witness the tangible results, and we want the results instantly. When we feel the nudge from God to let go and step out in faith to something new, we should not hesitate; instead trust God to open the doors and the pathway ahead and allow the blessings to happen in His timing. Letting go of the comfortable to trust God with the uncomfortable can be scary, but it leads to spiritual growth and draws us closer to Him. Is there something you’re holding on to that God may be asking you to let go of so He can show you the new thing? It’s called trusting God to take that leap of faith into the unknown and out of your comfort zone. Don’t let the fear of doubt stop you, instead let the fear of God be your solid foundation to step into the unknown to trust and obey Him to provide and lead the pathway ahead. Comment “letting go” if you would like to book a discovery call or private message me if you have any questions. I have a passion for helping others letting go to trust God completely for the unknown to further God’s kingdom.

NEVER REGRET DOING THE RIGHT THING Hebrews 13:18 (NIV), "Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way." Have you faced a choice between right and easy? Have you ever been caught between giving your all to help someone or to keep some for your own less pressing needs? Whether we agree or we do not, doing the right thing, though extremely difficult, brings profound rewards. As Paul wrote in Hebrews 13:18, a clear conscience stems from honorable living. When you choose integrity, you gain peace of mind, earn respect, and above all, gain God's approval. Though the path may be difficult, it leads to a life of integrity and honor. Stand firm in your convictions, seek God's guidance, and act morally, even when unseen. Trust in His sovereignty, and never regret choosing the right path. It is always the best option. #jesuslovesyou

How Can We Make a Difference in the Lives of Others (Ephesians 5:1-33)? First, we can look for the perfect example to ambulate, which often points to God's life in Christ (Eph. 5:1-2). Therefore, our lives should not be filled with sexual immorality and other ungodly acts, which will make our lives look undesirable and not different than the world (Eph. 5:3-12). Not only that but, the light of the perfect example exposes all of its imperfections (Eph. 5:13). What do you think about this? Should we advocate, that people must wake up and turn to their Creator (Eph. 5:14)? Why not be careful of how you should live and make the most of every opportunity because the world is evil (Eph. 5:15-16)? Wouldn't living a life meeting the prerequisites of the Supreme Being be better (Eph. 5:18b-20)? That said, this is what the Supreme Being is saying: If you want to make a difference in the lives of others, your life has to be different than the world. 1. Being like Christ, husband, and wife should submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Eph. 5:21). 2. Wives should be obedient to their husbands as in the Lord because they are the heads as Christ is the head of the church (Eph. 5:22-24). 3. Husbands should love their wives as Christ loved the church and their bodies (Eph. 5:25-28). You do not hate/beat your body but care for it like Christ does the church (Eph. 5:29). 4. Husband and wife should love one another because they are one now and should not let family, or others come between them (Eph. 5:30-33). If you can do this, you will make a difference in the lives of others. https://lnkd.in/er83vuQ https://lnkd.in/ezFbjJF
