Hitting the Gym not only keeps your Body in Shape but it also helps to keep you disciplined in your Life as well here's how: i) Most of us have habit of doing things in a hurry but key technique to succeed to build your arms is: Do it Slow which the trainer keeps repeating like mantra often. The same concept must be applied when we learn new things at workplace to gain complete knowledge on the same ii) Replace weights back at its old place - Most of us have habit of keeping things here and there without moving to it's original place be it at home or at workplace, once you pick up this skill the same should be applied in all walks of life as well and not just in gym. #thoughts #discipline #focus #careergrowth #skills #fitness

Let's simplify RPE and RIR: 🔹RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion): A scale between 1 & 10 measuring how hard you feel you're working during exercise. For example, RPE 7 means it's challenging but not your maximum. The difference between your RPE and 10 indicates how many reps you had left before failure. 🔹RIR (Reps in Reserve): Directly measures how many reps you believe you could still do before reaching failure in a set. For instance, RIR 2 means you could do 2 more reps before failing. In essence, RIR is the reverse of RPE – while RPE gauges overall exertion, RIR focuses on the specific number of reps left before reaching your limit. Consistency in the gym is as simple as enjoying what you do. If there is no enjoyment, then how do you suppose to stick at it? In my journey, I’ve found that changing my style of training from bodybuilding to calisthenics has increased my interest. And the greater the interest, the higher the likelihood of actually turning up. This process happens through feeling the exercises and overall training. Listen to your gut, it’s there for a reason. It will tell you what’s wrong, but not how to change it. This is where you have to get creative. Life won’t hand out solutions on a silver plater. Yet it gives you opportunities instead! And if you take it, you’ll be surpised at the fruit it bears. Have a play, listen to what feels right and try it out! #training #gym #consistency #results

Twelve-year-old Shane is doing an excellent job executing two exercises that challenge many gym-goers: The Hinge + Upright Row and The Plank to Push-up. Common mistakes with The Hinge: 1. Letting the back arch or round. 2. Not engaging core muscles. 3. Using momentum instead of controlled movement. 4. Not maintaining proper hip-knee-toe alignment. Common Mistakes with The Plank to Push-up: 1. Letting hips drop or back arch. 2. Not engaging core muscles. 3. Using momentum instead of controlled movement. 4. Not maintaining proper hand positioning (hands shoulder-width apart). 5. Not lowering body to proper depth (chest almost touching ground). #FitItFitness #obianenemovement #personaltrainer #gym #bodybuilding #training #health #move #letsgo #consistency #movement

1wInstead of just organizing events and classes, a more important way to “improve” your overall customer experience is to educate your irresponsible customers on proper gym etiquette and ensure they follow. Nothing else matters if your gym is just full of selfish, inconsiderate people who don’t clean up after themselves. Signs are clearly not enough, something more needs to be done.
