ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE MACHINE. What is an electrical discharge machine? (Also know as a spark eroder) Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a controlled metal-removal process that is used to remove metal by means of electric spark erosion. In this process an electric spark is used as the cutting tool to erode the workpiece to produce the finished part to the desired shape. The metal-removal process is performed by applying a pulsating On-Off electrical charge of high-frequency current through the electrode to the workpiece. This removes (erodes) very tiny pieces of metal from the workpiece at a controlled rate. Eroding Process EDM spark erosion is the same as having an electrical short that burns a small hole in a piece of metal it contacts. Inspection When Receiving Electronic Components: Step 2 When we get the #electroniccomponents purchased from our suppliers, #Lusengz will do the #inspection of the #components, the second step is #visualinspection. Visual inspection is to check whether the appearance of electronic components meets the requirements through visual or instrumental inspection. The main contents of visual inspection include: #ComponentPackage: whether there is damage, deformation, leakage and so on. #ComponentPartNumber, specification, manufacturer, and origin must meet the design requirements. #ComponentAppearance: whether it is complete, dents, cracks, scratches, abrasion, oxidation and so on. #ComponentPins: whether there is bending, fracture, oxidation, complete plating, etc. #MechanicalComponents size: whether it meets the requirements, thread flexibility, feel good. #SwitchComponents: whether it can be operated flexibly; whether the plug is loose and tight, good contact. Let's talk about the conventional connection techniques for five types of terminals, which we hope will be helpful for everyone. The details are as follows: First is screw connection. Screw connection uses screw-type terminal blocks. #Gedele Electric reminds you to pay attention to the maximum and minimum cross-sections of the wires that can be connected and the maximum tightening torque allowed for screws of different specifications. Next is soldering. The most common form of soldering is tin soldering. The most important aspect of tin soldering is that the solder material should form a metallic continuity with the surface being soldered. Then there's crimping. Crimping is a technique used to compress and displace metal within specified limits to connect the wire to the contact pair. Good crimping connections can produce metal interflow, causing symmetrical deformation of the wire and contact pair material. This type of connection is similar to cold welding, providing good mechanical strength and electrical continuity, and it can withstand harsher environmental conditions. Another method is wrapping. Wrapping involves directly wrapping the wire around the contact pin with edges. During wrapping, the wire is wound under controlled tension and pressed into the edges of the contact pin to form a gas-tight connection. Lastly, there's insulation displacement connection (IDC). IDC, also known as piercing connection, was invented in the United States in the 1960s. It is a novel terminal technology with high reliability, low cost, and ease of use. #Cablelug

The video shows a fracture or damage at the top of a mechanical component a hydraulic brake (upper threaded part). The damage appears to be due to excessive stress or excessive torque applied to this part, leading to deformation of the metal threads or a bend in the affected area. Possible causes of the fracture: 1. Excessive Mechanical Stress: Such as overloading or harsh use. 2. Thread Wear and Tear: This could result from prolonged use or inadequate maintenance. 3. Misalignment: Misalignment during assembly or operation. 4.
