As part of the “KARL – AI for Work and Learning in the Karlsruhe Region” research project, we’re developing an assistance system that recommends specific dispatching procedures to help reduce the number of traffic disruptions. Suggested procedures, such as implementing a suitable diversion, can be determined using AI. By analyzing various data sources, including historical and real-time traffic data, ticketing information, timetable data, and fleet management data, the AI-powered assistance system enables transport providers to react quickly and make informed decisions. This research project is part of our “nextGen” innovation campaign. 🚀 Almost 4 Years of Innovation: The Journey of AI-TWILIGHT 🚀 AI-TWILIGHT project has been a remarkable journey for us, a project that has truly made an impact on our company. Yesterday marked our final meeting with all our partners—a chance to tie up loose ends, present our outcomes, and share what comes next. The results speak for themselves: AI-TWILIGHT not only fully delivered on its goals, but it also paved the way forward for each of our partners. This project has been an incredible collaborative effort, bringing together industry giants like Signify and BMW, SME companies like Eccelectro and us, along with leading universities such as TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, TU Darmstadt, BME, and the University of Padova. Trust me there, everyone had their own goals at start... If it sounds ambitious, that’s because it was! 103 papers later, There were also 22 unique exploitation plans. Exploitation plan is the future product, project or opportunity you get from this project.
