Psychology for a Safe Climate’s Post

Take a moment to pause. Look out the window. Notice what's outside. Where can you glimpse nature just... being? Watch as the leaves move in the breeze, or the sun shines on the world. Listen as the birds chirp in the trees, or the rain drips on the ground. Notice yourself here, a part of nature, a part of this interconnected web. Take a moment to breathe. To just 'be with.' To spend a moment where nothing is expected of you, just that you are your true nature, exactly as you are. Taking moments like these to just pause throughout our day, notice what's going on, and then move on, can be grounding and supportive in a world that feels in constant crisis.
