Beyond the external festivities and celebrations, holidays provide a unique chance for self-reflection, introspection, and personal growth. Whether it's spending time with loved ones, exploring new places, or simply taking a break to recharge, holidays offer a space for individuals to connect with themselves on a deeper level. This quote reminds us that the true magic of holidays lies not just in the external experiences but in the internal exploration and self-discovery that can occur during these precious moments of respite.

My children often tell me that my generation is the most fortunate of all time. Why? Because we’ve had the unique opportunity to live and work in both the analogue and digital worlds. This dual experience places us in a rare position to embrace a more balanced life - one that combines the best values and behaviors from each world while avoiding their pitfalls. The analogue world taught us the importance of presence, patience, deep interpersonal connections and appreciation for simplicity and processes. On the other hand, the digital world offers unparalleled accessibility, efficiency, global connectivity and democratizes knowledge and expands access to education, work, and global conversations. By integrating the strengths of both, we have the potential to create a hybrid lifestyle that prioritizes well-being, fosters meaningful connections, and supports sustainability. But with this unique perspective comes a responsibility. As the world continues to change, we must facilitate discussions about the values and behaviors that define a good life. How do we preserve the wisdom of the past while embracing the opportunities of the future? And how do we build societies where everyone feels they belong, where they are cared for, and where they can contribute meaningfully to a greater purpose? As the holidays approach, I invite you to bring this topic to your family and friends. Let’s share experiences, exchange ideas, and reflect together on how we can collectively build a better, more inclusive world - not just for ourselves but for all species on this planet. Thank you for being part of my journey. I wish you all peaceful holidays filled with meaningful conversations and a Happy New Year full of possibility and purpose.

Just got back from a week of holidays in New York, and three things really caught my attention: 1) Time with loved ones: holidays make us happy and bring us closer to family and friends. Life's full of surprises (good and bad ones), so it's important to create opportunities and enjoy these moments. 2) Getting inspired: holidays aren't just about relaxing; they also give us cool ideas for life and work. They're like a spark that fires up our imagination. 3) Learning from others: holidays are a perfect opportunity to understand the many facets of human beings. Feeling pumped up and ready to dive back into things with a fresh perspective! Let's rock it together!

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 – 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 “Organized spontaneity is the secret sauce of holiday bliss.” The holidays can either feel like a whirlwind or a wasted opportunity if you don’t find the right balance. Some of us are planners, thriving on detailed itineraries, while others prefer to go with the flow. The trick is finding a happy medium. Start by mapping out key moments or events you don’t want to miss, like family gatherings or must-do traditions. Then, intentionally leave pockets of time open for those unplanned, magical moments that make the holidays memorable. This ensures the whole time doesn’t fly by without structure but also leaves room for spontaneity. 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝗽: Share the plan with the family so everyone knows what to expect while still feeling like they can suggest impromptu ideas. This way, everyone’s holiday feels special.

This week's #Fridaylongevitypoll — Celebrating Intergenerational Holidays! Have you ever wished you could spend more time with your grandparents, grandchildren, or other family members of different ages? You're not alone! A recent poll by easyJet holidays of 2,000 British adults revealed that more than half (56%) regret not spending enough time with their grandparents. Furthermore, 54% hope to include them in future holiday plans. The desire to connect across generations is clear. 59% of respondents expressed a wish to spend more time with the older generations in their family, and 57% want to create cherished holiday memories with their grandparents. Interestingly, 77% of those surveyed believe that the bond between grandparents and grandchildren is one of the most special within a family. Despite this, 27% admitted to speaking to their grandparents less than once a week. UK National Innovation Centre for Ageing and their magazine #thiscuriouslife want to hear from you! Do you like the idea of intergenerational holidays or trips where people of different ages share a passion? The Holidays can feel like running a marathon. But it doesn’t have to be like that. My latest article is all about viewing the holidays as a collection of MEANINGFUL MOMENTS, instead of a marathon. What friends do you really care to visit with? And how to best do that? It is marvelous to be social and chat with everyone during the holidays, but that's not realistic. Pick and choose only things that fill up your soul. Let’s reimagine holiday traditions that protect your energy and bring you more joy, not less. Want practical tips for setting boundaries, managing your energy, and what to pack in your “holiday survival kit” this season? Happy Holidays! I don’t believe in Santa anymore, and I’m not religious, but I do believe in hope, the power of your own voice, and the idea that everyone can make a difference. This year has been one of personal struggles—battles I never imagined facing. If you knew even half of what’s been happening behind the scenes, you’d probably be shocked. My smiles are often genuine, but they sometimes hide the weight I’m carrying. Through it all, I’ve learned to stand up for myself and use my voice in ways I hadn’t before. I’m a doer, not just a dreamer. I don’t sit and wait for life to happen—I work hard to carve my own path and turn my dreams into reality. As we head into the holidays and the new year, I’m holding onto these values: ✨ Hope, even in the hardest moments ✨ Honesty, because it’s the foundation of real connection ✨ Kindness, because we’re all fighting unseen battles ✨ Hard Work, to create the life we envision ✨ Self-Reflection, because growth starts with owning our mistakes We all have the power to create change, no matter where we are in life. Wishing you calm, peace, and brighter days ahead. Here’s to a meaningful holiday season and a hopeful 2025. #HappyHolidays #Hope #HardWork #PersonalGrowth #BeKind #BelieveInYourself #HappyHowlidays
