Psst... Anyone else interested in defending humans against robots/autocrats, could you upvote our @SXSWLONDON panel, now live for voting? Is whistleblowing dead? Defending freedom against robots and autocrats In an era where billionaires dox government officials and NDAs silence whistleblowers, exposing wrongdoing seems increasingly risky. Yet insiders are more essential than ever. This panel explores how to empower collective action and protect those speaking out when the guardrails of democracy are quickly disappearing. Together, they’ll share strategies to overcome obstacles and how to safeguard whistleblowers fighting for accountability. Panelists are: Mark MacGann, Uber’s former head of public policy who exposed the company’s illegal tactics globally Holly Alpine (née Beale), who led Microsoft employees in challenging the company’s use of AI in oil & gas Zelda Perkins, founder of Can’t Buy My Silence and Harvey Wenstein whistleblower Jennifer Gibson, co-founder of Psst.org, which redefines whistleblowing through collective action You'll have to create an account/log in to vote at the link below, but we thank you for the extra effort (the robots/autocrats won't appreciate this manual labor, but we will.) We'd love to get this conversation rolling: https://lnkd.in/ewv_mXkv
