These vague paywall headlines are driving me nuts. It's almost like subscription apps don't want to increase conversion. I get it. It's the paywall. It's revenue time! But we should always write copy from a user first perspective. The least we can do is promise a bit of value. 🤷♂️ Why should they subscribe? What's in it for them? These upgrade/premium/pro headlines scream, 'it's time for you to pay'. And all this does is add unnecessary friction in the users' mind. Remember, conversion is a game of give and take! P.S On Friday I'm going to breakdown a paywall that does an amazing job and communicating exactly what's in it for users.
