"Embarked on a dynamic day solo! ✈️ Explored potential opportunities with a new client, gearing up for their exciting venture in May. 🚀 Later, delved into discussions with an existing client about their firm's upcoming move and roles. 🤝 Navigating these meetings without my dynamic manager Kathy Rusher - Recruiter🌻🌻today, but the mission remains the same: fostering strong connections. 🌐 Ended the day spreading Easter joy with goodies, a gesture to appreciate and solidify our enduring relationships. 🐰🍫 #ClientConnections #SoloDay #BusinessGratitude #TeamSpirit"

#peer recognition Can we talk about appreciating employees for their dedication and hard work. Today marks exactly three months since I joined Solutech. Securing a job offer from them on January 15, 2024, was truly a dream come true for me. The company not only articulates its vision, mission, and culture but also lives by them. This fosters a profound sense of belonging and direction. On this Labor Day, I received an incredible email that truly warmed my heart. Our COO, who also happens to be my direct supervisor, expressed his appreciation in a way that energized me to strive for even greater achievements. Such gestures reaffirm that our efforts are noticed and valued, fueling our determination to excel further. Sometimes as employees, we may feel unnoticed, but it's crucial to keep pushing and giving our best, trusting that our efforts will be recognized eventually. For job seekers, it's essential to pray not only for a good job but also for a supportive boss. This significantly contributes to creating a positive work environment." Lesson: Remember, persist in doing your best, for even when it seems no one is observing, divine recognition awaits.

#WhyITAWednesday Meet Tyler Barhydt, a recent addition to our Customer Solutions team, who is already delivering exceptional service to our customers. Tyler has become a standout for his expertise, enthusiasm, and ability to craft solutions that meet and exceed our customers' expectations. Here’s a glimpse into his journey with us. Professional Growth at ITA Tyler appreciates ITA's commitment to professional development, which has been instrumental in his growth. He shared, “ITA consistently finds opportunities for me to grow. Whether it is allowing me to represent the company at industry conferences, entrusting me to build relationships with government and commercial partners, or sending me to professional development courses (all of which ITA has done), ITA has been a strong supporter of my professional growth. The more I grow in this role, the more I can give back to the company. I think ITA truly understands the importance of supporting the development of its workforce!” The Heart of ITA: Our People When asked about the highlight of his role, Tyler’s answer is clear: “The people – plain and simple. ITA has assembled an incredible team, and it certainly is wonderful to come to work each day surrounded by dedicated, inspiring, and genuinely happy people. ITA'ers are a diverse bunch from all sorts of backgrounds, and I've enjoyed getting to know quite a few of them over a lunch or coffee in either our Richmond location or at our headquarters in Newport News. I think it's increasingly rare to find a company that engenders such a sense of belonging from day one, but that has certainly been my experience here at ITA, and it's all because of the people.” #InTheArena #ITAisHiring #HiringOurHeroes #Hiring #MeetTheTeam #EmployeeSpotlight #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #IndustryLeaders #CustomerSolutions #SuccessStories

This past week was one of the most professionally fulfilling I have had in a long time. Throughout the past few months, I have been deeply involved in coordinating the development and leading the execution of, our US Higher Ed sales conference—more fondly known as our Engagement Summit. As I look back on the week that was (after catching up on some serious amounts of sleep over the weekend), I realize that I had yet again, come face to face with some key lessons that are relevant both professionally and personally: 1) Happenstance – yep, part of what we accomplish in life can always be put down to plain old hard work and perseverance, but there is almost always an element of luck, of being in the right place at the right time. But you have to have your eyes wide open to take full advantage of opportunity when it comes knocking. I’m so glad I jumped in with both feet and threw caution to the wind to take this on. 2) Surrendering the “me” for “we” – for an event of 700+ people, there is the opportunity for much feedback from many people. Ensuring alignment across various business functions, whilst also keeping it focused on deep learning and engagement is no mean feat. But with the right people, you somehow keep finding new gears you never knew you had to keep going. And whenever a bar is raised, you somehow find a way to not only meet it but leave it eating your dust. I’m so glad I found my people in this—what a gift to call them friends as well as colleagues. 3) Serious work can still be serious fun – from glow-in-the-dark butterfly wings to Bingo and role-playing scenarios, to Daily Huddles celebrating our products, people, and our experiences, to having hundreds of people on their feet learning breakdancing moves, just because you make it fun, doesn’t mean it’s not serious business. The extra work involved in bringing creativity to the forefront may be daunting at first, but it is so worth it. So, another Engagement Summit is in the books, and I couldn’t be prouder of the entire team who came together to make it all happen. It takes a village and over the past week, we showed the kind of village we are—one that is accountable to and for each other. I can’t wait to see what kind of results this event breeds. #heretowin #productmarketing #edtech

Today is my 8th anniversary at Chartis and it's been a few years since I posted the welcome card I received from the great Daniel Herman on my first day. (I still keep it in my desk.) My grand plan was to stay at Chartis for 5 years because up until the point when I joined the firm, my longest tenure was three and a half years so I wanted to demonstrate some sticking power. Which thinking back on that now sort of makes me laugh since the average job tenure is down to under 2 years. But here on the big 8, I am feeling reflective...so let's be all consultant-y and take a look at my time at Chartis by the numbers. ⏲ In my 8 years here I've hired 71 FTEs. ⏲ I can't even begin to count the number of contractors I've hired so we'll call that too many to count (hey, I'm not one of our actual consultants so get over it). ⏲ At one point in time, I had hired 75% of our #RevenueCycle practice. ⏲ I've served 4 of our major practice areas: Technology, Revenue Cycle, Performance Improvement, and now I am with our Strategy group. ⏲ I've been promoted 3 times. ⏲ OK, I don't travel like a real #consultant, but I still have a miles status in the 6-figures. ⏲ I've directly led 6 people and mentor many others leading to at least 3 promotions that I can think of. ⏲ I've probably cursed in the millions of times and it's one of my favorite things about the firm. heh heh. Dan's wish for me was that I would welcome the challenge, enjoy the culture, and contribute to our clients' success and make healthcare better by recruiting the best and brightest to the firm... 💌 A wish that will never be fully achieved, but contributed to every day. #anniversary #recruiter #RecruiterLife #Big8 **** ⭐ Want to work here, too? 🦃🦃More Gratitude for The Opportunities Each Week🦃🦃 As we continue to reflect on the momentum and milestones of each day of our own journey, I wanted to take a moment to express gratitude for each opportunity that comes our way at Service Specialists Ltd and for every connection that has helped us grow our company! Every interaction—whether it's a quick coffee chat, a chance meeting at a business event, or a strategic partnership—has the potential to open doors- not only for us as a company but for potential clients. These interactions tend to spark ideas and shape the future. I love it when our Team puts their heads together and one will say, "What about this person or that person for this new role?" These moments remind us that no success is achieved alone; it’s built through the trust, collaboration, and shared vision of the people we meet along the way. These interactions are so important for small businesses! To our incredible clients, partners, and team members: thank you for believing in what we do. Your support, trust, and collaboration pushes us to reach new goals every month. Here’s to staying grateful, staying connected, and continuing to create impact together.
