In over a decade, the real estate & construction sector an erstwhile traditional institution have gradually undergone disruption spurn by the technology evolution. Over $100m have been invested in PropTech companies across #Africa and over $19B globally, surely these are not facts to gloss over. In our continent, we have seen pioneer companies take the much needed bold initiatives required to drive innovation and shift the paradigm against all odds, from Sakneen who are the first PropTech company to gain acceptance into Y Combinator (a noteworthy bragging right), to Mubawab, arguably the biggest PropTech company in Africa, to Spleet who joined MetaProp accelerator programme in 2021 becoming the first PropTech startup on the continent to do so. Time after time, players have emerged and today, the ecosystem boasts of a sizeable congregation which includes but is not limited to Nawy, Rentsmallsmall Inc, Quiclet, PropCrowdy Limited, Venco, Flow, LeaseSurance, Jumba, Estate Intel, Keble (Techstars ‘22), Cutstruct (Techstars Toronto ‘23), Bosso, Clustrr, amongst many others. There is no doubt that we are about to witness a new era and lay the firm foundation that would enable the future generation(s) live and thrive sustainably, which is why I'd like to officially welcome you all to the #biggest PropTech - Real estate event in #Africa....The ImmoTech - PropTech Expo, co-organized by ImmoTech & Salon RENT Real Estate & New Tech with Built Fund as a strategic partner in Africa. Special thanks to Kevin Gormand for inviting us onboard to help ImmoTech - PropTech Expo become a great success! A true visionary and dedicated leader. Join us this #September in Casablanca, Morocco as we unveil our dreams, vision & mission to you all and explore areas of shared synergies in order to foster positive acceleration. 📢 Tickets are currently open here👇👇 https://www.immotech.ma/ Merci! 🥳
It's a pleasure and a real pride to see our event ImmoTech growing! On the first edition, the focus was to help local real estate professionals to discover the Moroccan Proptech ecosystem. 🇲🇦 🇲🇦 🇲🇦 On the second edition, we've partnered with Salon RENT and the European Proptech ecosytem, opening-up more opportunities for our local real estate professionals. On this third edition, we maintain our partnership with Salon RENT , but we are welcoming a new strategic partner : Built Fund! Built Fund is an Africa-focused venture capital fund accelerating early-stage Proptech Startups and committed to identifying and supporting technology-driven solutions that address unique real estate challenges across the African continent. This will allow ImmoTech' visitors, to get to know new players and actors of the African Proptech ecosystem, which should open even more opportunities for our local professionals and vice-versa. I am happy to have seal this collaboration with Bolade Maiga and A. who are behind Built Fund, and even happier to welcome more African Proptech lovers in Casablanca in September!

Here’s one for the record books: DoorLoop, the Israeli startup that’s making the old guard in PropTech sweat, just secured $100M in Series B. JMI Equity came through with the bag, and it’s no surprise—this crew, led by co-founders Ori Tamuz, Itay Gardi, and David Bitton, is cooking up the future of property management like it’s a backyard BBQ. What’s the secret sauce? Automation, baby. While the dinosaurs in the industry are still messing with spreadsheets and clunky systems, DoorLoop’s platform is putting everything on autopilot—from rent collection to tenant screening. It's not just a tool, it’s a whole new playbook. And with this kind of funding, they’re about to go full throttle on expansion in the U.S. and Israel, with a hiring spree to match. And did I mention they doubled their revenue in the last year? Yeah, they’re playing chess while the competition is still figuring out checkers. Half a billion-dollar valuation? Light work. But this isn’t just about another funding round—this is about turning an industry upside down. DoorLoop’s not here to be “another option”—they’re here to be the option. JMI Equity knows it, the team knows it, and pretty soon, every property manager out there will too. Congrats to the DoorLoop team for leveling up the game. The future of PropTech? It’s in good hands. #PropTech #PropertyManagement #Automation #VentureCapital #StartupFunding #IsraeliTech #Technology #Innovation #BoomSeriesB #GlobalTech #TechEcosystem
