Are you tired of seeing your team constantly engrossed in their phones? It might be time to shake things up and introduce a refreshing change! At East Street Lanes, we believe in the power of team bonding and the impact it has on motivation and productivity. Organising a "Put Your Phones Down Day" with us helps you step away from technology and foster intrinsic motivation among your staff. Intrinsic motivation stems from internal rewards like the sense of accomplishment, enjoyment, or personal growth. By engaging in activities like bowling and arcade games, your team can experience a break from the ordinary work routine, leading to increased morale and a stronger sense of camaraderie. This, in turn, can boost overall team performance and create a more positive work environment. On top of that, rewarding your staff with experiences like these can also tap into extrinsic motivation – external rewards such as recognition, incentives, or perks. By acknowledging their hard work with a fun day out, you're showing appreciation and investing in their well-being, which can result in improved job satisfaction and loyalty. So, why not make a change today and join us at East Street Lanes for a day of team bonding, fun, and memories that will last a lifetime! Business Development Manager Allgate Auto Doors and Gates Stepping into a new role with a team of Millennials and Gen Z was a leap into the unknown for me – an unapologetically Gen X kind of girl. Making the decision to leave my comfort zone, and embrace a business I wasn’t 100% sure about was both exciting and a little terrifying. I’m sure it was a risk for them to bring me on board too. I mean, what if it didn’t work out? But here’s the thing: What if it does? Being part of this dynamic, young team has been a breath of fresh air. Watching them grow, achieve, and bring their own unique talents to the table has given me a renewed spirit and passion for what’s possible. There’s so much potential here, and seeing the future of this company in their hands is both inspiring and humbling. Their energy and willingness to push boundaries remind me every day of the importance of stretching beyond what’s comfortable and known. So, my message to anyone contemplating a similar leap – take the risk. Step out of your comfort zone and embrace the unknown. You might just find yourself in the middle of something extraordinary, learning from an incredible group of people and opening up to the wonderful world that each new generation brings. 🌟 hashtag #AutomaticDoors #automaticgates #rollershutters #gateinstallation #doorservice #ShutterService #securitysolutions #AccessControl #commercialsecurity #residentialgates #industrialdoors #DoorMaintenance #gateservices #shutterrepair #24hrservice #EmergencyRepairs #ProfessionalInstallation #qualityservice #ReliableSecurity #ExpertTechnicians #Allgate

Same spot, same time, same way…only a different reason to go and it’s the next year - see https://lnkd.in/epv8Uqgq After a period of hard work, changes everywhere around and in our team, I thought, it make sense to go for a ride again. Last year I went to my dad to take care of him. This year I try to sell the house which I know now for nearly 60 years. So again changes, but may be also here good ones - in case a sell it, my dream of a camper van is closer. 😉 Looking into our team the biggest change will come and quite some people will leave. 🥲 However also here a positive vibe is swinging around. We hired new team members and do still for 2 (internal) positions. And there are already great new people in the onboarding and that gives this positive energy to me - will all be easy? No! Will it be hard work? Yes! BUT I strongly believe a different team will come out and this is something really good! Mission-Critical Support - you rock 🤘🧡

"Today is my first day on the job. They don't tell us anything. They just put us out here." So said the door-to-door salesperson after only 45 seconds of conversation and two basic questions. Sweating in the afternoon Florida sun, walking, knocking, pleading, trying to find residents, any resident, willing to listen, let alone sign up. Two months ago, the corporate brand, with its heavy machinery and sprawling crews, had swept through the neighborhood installing buried fiber optic lines. Then all was quiet for about eight weeks. Suddenly every day now brings a door knock, twice a day on the weekend. There are several observations to me made. I choose to consider the plight of the frontliner and the wonderfully universal statement, "Today is my first day on the job. They don't tell us anything. They just put us out here." No prep, no marketing, no leave behind, no confidence, no purpose. This example is exactly at the core of the Experience Gap. Do you see it? #frontline #experiencegap #experiencehandyman

Things I love about being a Studio Manager: 1. No two days are ever the same. One day, I might be making sure a client has everything they need on set, designing a bonkers new set the next day, and then planning the week ahead for our post-production team. 🖋 2. Building relationships with clients is a big part of the job. I love getting to know people, so it's right up my street. 👥 3. Seeing our talented team bring our projects to life is always super fun. 🖱 4. Being on set is a blast. If you’ve worked with us at Dead Pixel, you know we're a fun bunch, and our time on set is no different. 🕺 5. I'm the office feeder. Doing our weekly snack run to keep everyone’s bellies full and cravings satisfied is key to keeping us productive. 🍫 What do you love about your job?
