That means: - Being able to explain why you want to get a sales job Tip - a hiring manager is unlikely to give you a position because you couldn’t find anything else so thought “I’ll try sales” - Apply for roles, speak to people in role, pick up the phone Tip - the phone is the most important thing in the world of B2B sales. If you don’t answer your own phone and try to communicate only on emails then sales isn’t for you. - Keep going. I can’t think of anyone that we’ve placed who only applied for one job and got it.
