3 things that help you navigate shifts in your career and achieve success: - Overcoming Fear - Embracing Learning - Growth Mindset Let me tell you my story. I never dreamed of being a salesperson. After my Master's in Computer Science in 2005, my goal was to become a software trainer. Life, however, had different plans, and I found myself in a technical training role within the BPO industry. Things shifted again, A surprise shift in 2014 landed me in a sales role. Honestly, I fumbled at first. Pitches were awkward and cold calls made me cringe. But what I did have was a deep understanding of our services and a talent for research. I could pinpoint a client's challenges and connect them to solutions we offered. So, I became a student of sales. I observed, took feedback, and fearlessly tried new things. With every call, it became clear: sales wasn't about being scripted, it was about being adaptable. Understanding a client's unique needs and pivoting my approach was essential. This growth mindset, this embracing of change, is what propelled me into leadership. My initial lack of traditional sales skills didn't limit me. My dedication and ability to learn and evolve became my defining traits. So , Don't be afraid of what you don't know, be excited to discover what you can become. #careergrowth #careersuccess #careerdevelopment #professionaldevelopment #mindset #sales #salesleadership #salestips #salestraining #adaptability #motivation #inspiration #growthmindset

I’ve been navigating sales training for the last 2 years and if I’m being honest there have been more low points than positive. Sales as an industry is cut throat. It’s survival of the fittest, along with loads of stress and pressure. As a sales trainer, I try my best to help sales agents navigate everything that is needed to juggle the load on their plate- yet you’d be suprised how many are very reluctant to training. We are shifting into a time where companies are investing more into training and hiring full time training managers to help the team reach the numbers. This is all well and good, but sometimes at the end of the day, the team (or more shockingly the directors) aren’t on-board. In my career, I’ve seen many opportunities lost due to lack of willingness to grow or having an ego the size of the burj. If you are new to the sales industry, or have been in the industry for years- having an open mind can change the game. And for those managing directors who love the idea of training yet don’t have their top management on board, get them onboard before hiring a trainer- because it’s not a learning problem it’s a mindset problem. Have a great Tuesday everyone ! #training #salestraining #realestatetrainer #motivation #learninganddevelopment #realestateknowledge

Unlocking Practical Knowledge: The Key to Success in Sales "पुस्तकस्था तु या विद्या, परहस्तगतं च धनम्। कार्यकाले समुत्तपन्ने न सा विद्या न तद् धनम्।। As a sales coach, this principle is at the core of my teaching methodology. The modern sales environment demands not just theoretical understanding, but practical, actionable knowledge that can be deployed effectively at the right moment. The Essence of Practical Knowledge In sales, success hinges on: Immediate Application: Knowledge must be actionable and readily applicable in real-time scenarios. The best strategies are those that can be implemented on the spot, without the need for extensive preparation or resources that aren't immediately available. Adaptability: The sales landscape is dynamic. What works today might not work tomorrow. Hence, continuous learning and adaptability are crucial. This means staying updated with market trends, understanding client needs, and being flexible in your approach. Resourcefulness: Often, the most effective solutions come from leveraging what you have at your disposal. This involves thinking creatively and utilizing available resources to their fullest potential, rather than waiting for ideal conditions or additional tools. My Approach as a Sales Coach Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of coaching numerous individuals and teams, helping them unlock their true potential in sales. My approach is grounded in the following principles: Interactive Learning: Engaging in role-plays, real-life simulations, and hands-on exercises that mirror actual sales scenarios. Feedback Loop: Providing continuous feedback and creating an environment where learners feel comfortable experimenting and refining their techniques. Customized Strategies: Tailoring strategies to fit the unique strengths and weaknesses of each individual or team. This personalized approach ensures that the knowledge imparted is both relevant and practical. Real-World Impact One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing the tangible impact of practical knowledge on my clients' success. Here are a few stories: Transformative Growth: A sales team at a mid-sized company increased their closing rate by 30% within six months by implementing immediate feedback techniques and adaptive selling strategies. Empowered Individuals: A new sales representative, initially struggling with confidence, became one of the top performers in their organization by leveraging role-play exercises and real-time feedback to hone their skills. If you're looking to elevate your sales game, let's connect. Together, we can transform theoretical knowledge into practical success, ensuring you're always ready to seize the moment. #SalesCoach #PracticalKnowledge #SalesSuccess #Adaptability #ContinuousLearning #Resourcefulness #SalesTraining

Embracing failure as a learning opportunity is key to consistent success in the ever-changing sales industry. 🧠 This mindset shift transforms fear of setbacks into chances for growth. 📈 Imagine an employee who consistently misses their target. Instead of dwelling on the letdown, they analyze the causes. Maybe they didn't connect with the right audience, their presentation needed work, or they missed successful closing techniques. By dissecting these obstacles, they gain invaluable insights to apply in future projects, leading to better results and ultimately, reaching their goals. 💪 This proactive approach turns setbacks into stepping stones, propelling them towards greater success. Embrace the power of learning! 🚀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆: 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀. #SalesGrowth #EmbraceFailure #LearnAndGrow #SalesMotivation #Masterclass #NeverStopLearning #MissEnergySalesSwagger #MissEnergyMasterclass #howtobeaSalesSwagger #SalesSwagger #BusinessWisdom #PositiveEnergy #MotivationNation #RiaTalks

Free Sales Coaching Opportunity. Free? Seriously? Yes! Having achieved over two decades of record-breaking sales, conducted 13 years of impactful sales training and coaching as well as authored 3 sales books, I'm excited to give back. I didn’t have the privilege of having a sales coach, and I believe my growth would have accelerated if I had one. Sales is a life skill that can transform lives, and my ultimate goal is to help individuals harness their sales potential to improve their personal and professional lives. Nothing satisfies me more than to witness sales individuals reach their fullest potential and achieve their sales goals. I'm looking for passionate, eager learners—no sales experience required. To start, I'm offering this opportunity to just five candidates. PM me to see if we’re a match! Do feel free to share with anyone whom you think might benefit from this opportunity. #sellingskills #salesprofession #salescoaching Click on the notification bell on my profile for latest post. #AngelaOhyourssincerely

I see clients hiring the wrong people for roles that are client facing, training, doing presentations (especially webinars), or any role that needs to grab attention quickly. Here’s a take you probably didn’t think of, that may help the next time you need to hire someone like this. I speak from experience, because I’m Dyslexic. #kellybonnsolutions #dyslexic #hiring

Most of us get advice from the wrong people. We get advice from our circles: - Friends - Partners - Colleagues - Family members They have the best intentions. And you SHOULD talk to them about your struggles. But... When it comes to taking action and making strategic decisions, you should talk to someone who: - Has been where you are - Is familiar with where you want to be - Knows how to get there If a family member or a friend checks those boxes, ask them to mentor you. If not, a career coach can help. When I left Product Management for Customer Success a few years ago, I worked with a career coach. Could I have handled it on my own? Sure. But it would have taken me more. More time. More energy. More mistakes. So I paid a coach because I needed someone else’s perspective. Professional bodybuilders have personal trainers. Dentists don’t do their own dental work. Everyone can benefit from an expert's outside perspective.
