Practice makes progress is my personal mantra. The problem is, in leadership, not all progress feels like forward momentum—because it isn’t. As leaders, let’s redefine progress… If you’re like me, I struggle with set backs. No matter how many times I’ve failed, the sting never feels any easier to deal with. Zooming out and reflecting on the bigger picture helps me to see failures don’t define me.
