Meaningful moments… Absolutely thrilled to share a personal slice 🍕 of life with my LinkedIn family today. 🌟 After 14 years of relentless work, today was a refreshingly different day for me. For the first time in over a decade, I had the chance to step away from the whirlwind of work to accompany one of my kids to her doctor's 👩⚕️ appointment. It sounds simple, right? But, oh, how easy it is to get swept up in the currents of our day-to-day jobs, forgetting these small, yet profoundly meaningful moments. The real gift of today wasn't just about making sure Zoey was in good health (though I'm relieved to say, she tested negative for strep throat! 🎉), but rather, it was the treasure trove of conversations we shared in the car ride to and from the doctor's office. Those moments, those exchanges, reminded me of the pure joy and the irreplaceable memories that come from simply being present. To celebrate the good news and to make the most of our unexpected day together, we're playing hooky for the rest of the day. First stop? Starbucks, where Zoey's picking up a strawberry açaí lemonade and I'm treating myself to an iced vanilla latte. ☕️🍓 Today is a powerful reminder of the beauty in the ordinary, the conversations that matter, and the importance of sometimes, just sometimes, putting life ahead of work. Here's to more stolen moments, more health, and more strawberry açaí lemonades in our futures. #LifeLessons #FamilyFirst #WorkLifeBalance #StarbucksRun

One of the most rewarding parts of being on a team is getting to know each other—the unique quirks, talents, and perspectives that everyone brings to the table. When you take the time to learn about those differences, something amazing happens: you create opportunities for connection, understanding, and, most importantly, fun. For me, the holidays in retail are a perfect example of this. It’s a busy season, no doubt, but it’s also when we spend so much time together that our workplace truly feels like a second home. That’s why I believe in making it enjoyable. Whether it’s through shared laughs, little traditions, or spontaneous moments of joy, these experiences can transform the hustle into something memorable. I’ll be honest—I laugh a lot during the holidays. The days fly by because I genuinely love being at work. It’s not just about the tasks we accomplish but about the atmosphere we create together as a team. So, if you’re leading or part of a team, especially during a busy season, my advice is simple: lean into the camaraderie. Find ways to bring out the best in each other and make the time you spend together something to look forward to. Because when work feels less like a chore and more like a place of connection, everyone wins. life@bby Adam Surinskis Zee Soofi Alison Gedye Shaara Satoskar Chris Goncalves #bestbuy #bestbuycanada #lifeatbestbuy #holiday #d8 #t3 #Christmas #team "#teamwork #lovewhatyoudo #secondhome

Sales is a rollercoaster🎢 One day, you’re riding the highest wave 🌊 and the next, you’re navigating a deep valley. It’s a career that demands resilience, consistency, and a focus on building meaningful connections. While metrics guide us, the ♥️ of what we do is about relationships and creating value. That’s why balance is so important. I’m incredibly grateful to Mews for prioritizing mental health by offering a Wellness Wednesday every single month. Not once a quarter, not a few times a year—but every single month. I’m spending this Wellness Wednesday at My Happy Place—Walt Disney World. Taking my mom here for Christmas🎄is a dream come true and a reminder of why recharging and resetting matter so much. I wanted to share a little magic from Disney’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It’s hard not to feel inspired and recharged in a place where the holidays come to life in the most magical way. Check out this moment that truly captures the spirit of the season! 🏰 🎅 Having come from a career in hotels where I had just five PTO days a year, I know how demanding and relentless this industry can be. A monthly day to focus on yourself—to refresh, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most—makes all the difference. Here’s to companies that understand the value of balance and investing in their people. When we’re at our best, everything else follows. #WellnessWednesday #SalesLife #MentalHealthMatters #Grateful #WorkLifeBalance #RechargeResetRefocus #MEWS #BuildingConnections #SalesResilience

I took my coat off and poured myself a glass of wine. I finally got home, after the usual two hour drive from the office. It was a Friday night after yet another intense and draining working week. I was exhausted and frustrated. So exhausted I hadn't even had time to celebrate that it was the weekend. Sound familiar? Gone were the day’s when I looked forward to a boozy, laughter filled night out with my mates. I wasn’t in the mood. The problem was I was never in the mood lately. I wanted to retreat from the world and have another glass of wine. What the hell happened, I’d gone from chief party instigator to chief party pooper! I couldn’t wait to get away from work, yet I couldn’t seem to get away from it either. 🫤 A good weekend was one where I got Saturday to kick back, (i.e run round like superwoman and do all my chores) and then back to checking emails and working on a Sunday. A bad weekend would be one where the work resumed on Saturday and continued over the rest of the weekend! Work is important but not this important. This was not career affirming, it was self-abuse. Is this what work looks like for you, ask yourself why, and is it worth it? What happens when you are not at your best either at work or at home. Would you like it to stop? Asking for a friend, 🤔 Photo? It's bloody cold out there! #leadingself #worktolive #leadershipdevelopment

Switching your place of work once a month not only lifts your mood but also gives you a sense of direction. It can be personal, career-related, or both. We often overlook these important aspects when operating from our cocoon. Sometimes we don’t realise it and that’s okay. Changing a place of work gives you - 1. A fresh perspective on important things in life 2. Some creative ideas if you allow your mind to wander 3. A decluttered mind space to an extent 4. Increased productivity, as work gets done faster than usual 5. An opportunity to connect with new people Do you also switch up your workspace? P.S. I went to Starbucks today after a long time because it's near where I live and quite spacious as well. Truly an ideal spot for professionals to work at their own pace. #ASwrites #linkedinforcreators #starbucks #idealworkspace #contentcreator

Friday mood hours, or monday blues!!! Why are they so different❓ Umm, well honestly, not much changes except for the fact that its the week starting or the end. Been working now for 4+ years in multiple cities, brands, and roles; I really figured out that, the way you look at the weekdays is highly related to your love for the work and desire to keep doing it!! ⌛️ Thought it may not be the same always, but majority of the times it stays this way‼️ Just to love what you do for your work, and process you follow to make it fun is what it takes; to be the productive you, the people around you look for!😄 #Friday #MondayBlues #productmanagement #quikit

Sharing a little bit of 'you' beyond the 'work-wali' vibe! ✨ It all started with a name. Someone I see in meetings, office gallery, exchange emails with, or pass by on the way to while grabbing coffee. This year, I became their Secret Santa.🎅 As I sat thinking about the perfect gift, I realized something: How much do I really know about them beyond work? That’s the beauty of activities like Secret Santa at #Medha. It pushes us to pause, look beyond tasks and titles, and connect as humans—quirks, likes, and all. I found myself learning about their favorite books, hobbies, and even a snack they love (who knew?). When the gifts are exchanged, the joy will feel real, the smiles even more so. And suddenly, the person won’t just be “the one from Finance” or “the team lead from any department”—they will be someone I know. 😊 These little moments aren’t so little. They strengthen trust, spark conversations, and make teams more cohesive. Because when we know each other beyond work—beyond deliverables and deadlines—that’s when workplace culture truly thrives. So here’s my takeaway: Connection doesn’t always need a big reason. Sometimes, it just needs a gift, a smile, or a little effort to get to know someone beyond work. #WorkplaceCulture #HumanConnections #BeyondWork #SecretSanta
