🍂Happy US Thanksgiving!🙏 I am in Canada, but like to take every opportunity to appreciate the abundance we have around us. Without truly appreciating what we have, we keep seeking, living in dissatisfaction and at times even fear. So let’s appreciate. Five things I am grateful for today? 💭My little weirdo here. She is an enthusiastic bundle of energy, doesn’t let any rejection from older dogs stop her from trying to make friends. 💭My partner who walks with me on this path of growth and learning. 💭My family and friends with whom I have shared many happy and human (not so happy) hours. 💭My constantly evolving community, both online and offline, and the diversity that I see even as we share so many of our core values. 💭Technology that we enjoy, scary and in need of a reflective moment at this time at a global level, but incredible regardless in its potential. 🚀🚀🚀What are five things you will appreciate today? #appreciation #mindfulness #mindfulwealth #thanksgiving

Create A Memorable Moment – A Christmas Moment! Many places and cultures in the world take time to remember this moment; the Savior’s Birth. Will you take time tomorrow to create a memorable moment for those around you? It also needs to start with you. Are you making this day a memorable moment? You don’t have to have a list of things. A heart of gratitude and a simple act of kindness can be sufficient. As a simple reminder; “As we continue to put positive energy into motion, we can begin to create positive emotion that builds traction and momentum.” Be intentional. Be present. Be grateful. Create a positive environment. Keep it simple! Enjoy the moment! The one of the past and the one you are creating! Happy Holidays!

Christmas is a particular time of the year. People live it in many different ways, and as I come from a very distant place like Buenos Aires, where it’s summer with 35 degrees, I truly enjoy the white (hopefully 🙏) Christmas in Finland. Keeping, adopting, and re-creating traditions is one of the best things we can do as foreigners. It empowers us in our daily lives and allows us to experience this month with creativity, love, and peace. Whether you are in a relationship or single, whether you have family in Finland or not, Christmas puts us in a position where we have to celebrate. Until the day comes, there are many "pikkujoulu" and different events and celebrations, plus all the deadlines and must-dos before the year ends. If there are many events and meetings happening, try not to burn yourself out—be a little selfish and practice self-care. If you are not meeting anyone and don’t have someone to spend Christmas with, seek out people. A random stranger might completely change it. I’ve already seen some planning ongoing on Facebook. Christmas is about sharing with others, and I know it may trigger past family experiences, both pleasant and conflictive ones. We can't change the past, but we can transform the present. Sometimes you can be surrounded by people but still feel lonely. As foreigners, we have family and friends far away. It’s the life we chose—life is all about decisions—but it’s still difficult to be without the ones we love near us. That’s why this is a good time for reflection. It might be painful, but what is life without pain? We suffer, we enjoy, we love, we hate—that’s life. Managing the ups and downs is what keeps us surfing it. Positive psychology is great, but be responsible. Life is not a fairytale nor an AI dystopian happy world. Take this time for introspection, say you love the ones you have around, and make a big Kippis! #ChristmasReflections #LifeAbroad #ForeignersInFinland #ExpatsLife #Traditions #SelfCare #Loneliness #HolidaySeason #PositiveThinking #MindfulLiving #EmbracingChange
