Hey Software Developers, 💻 This time my post is about a different POV to the job market. To help my friends mostly based in Turkiye. But indeed this approach would help anyone in this field. Yep, you don't have good opportunities in there. But you can be a super star in another country. Or worth to contract developer at least. You don't need to be there life long. I don't mean just physically, but also mentally. 🧠 ❤️ You can: - look for some potential countries **local** job boards - look for a quick conversation with a specific company's recruiter, talent hunter etc. - build friendships those employees/employers via this platform - ask questions to them to share your knowledge/ideas or learn from them But you shouldn't expect the best love at first sight. This is a journey. 🛣 And the key point is "Only expect sth from Allah(Creator, Almighty, Merciful), not from human beings", of course, within doing required stuff at the same time. Having intention is essential in this life. Because when you have a tendency to do sth, Allah starts to create it for you. Creating a Basic Server: I created a simple server using Node.js, handling incoming requests and sending responses to clients. Interacting with MySQL: I explored how to interact with MySQL from within a Node.js environment, learning how to connect to a MySQL database and perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations. Day 3 and Day 4: Mastering SQL Joins Simple Joins: I studied how to perform simple SQL joins, combining data from two or more related tables based on a common field. Joins with Aggregation: I learned how to use SQL joins in combination with aggregation functions like SUM(), COUNT(), and AVG() to generate more complex data analysis results. Practical Use Cases: I practiced writing and executing SQL queries that involved joining tables to retrieve meaningful insights from relational data. Day 5: Building a Junior Software Developer CV, Personal Branding on LinkedIn, and Interview Skills Creating a Junior Software Developer CV: I learned the best practices for crafting a CV tailored to entry-level software development roles, focusing on showcasing relevant skills and projects. Personal Branding on LinkedIn: I explored the importance of building a personal brand on LinkedIn, optimizing my profile to highlight my technical expertise, projects, and career goals.
