LinkedIn trends that need to fade away before 2024 ends: 1) Sharing a job posting without giving any email ID to share CV at: I understand people want to gatekeep their email IDs but then doesn't it get more difficult to manage connection requests and source CVs from your LinkedIn inbox? The whole purpose of easy access to application gets defeated. 2) Disbursing "Corporate Gyaan" over every other trending topic: "10 corporate lessons from MSD" "69 things to learn from Poonam Pandey" I know it is irresistible sometimes to jump onto the bandwagon, but corporate lessons are best drawn from actual life experiences worth making a corporate lesson. 3) Posting an irrelevant photo with, sometimes a bomb, content! I get the algorithm logic, which is sad, but it literally irks me to see such an exceptionally well written post flaunting a personal photo 🤷🙈 I often wonder if I have accidentally landed on Instagram rather than LinkedIn Posting a cactus alongside this post makes sense? THIS! This is the irrelevance. What are the trends that you think should be done away with? #weekemdmusings #linkedintrends #linkedin #corporategyaan #influencers

LinkedIn is your runway; own your spotlight! Build your Personal brand before someone else defines it for you. As an HR Manager, I’ve realized that personal branding isn’t just for entrepreneurs or influencers—it’s for everyone. Whether you’re a fresher, a team leader, or in the C-suite, your LinkedIn profile is the first impression you make in the digital world. Here’s what I’ve been doing to elevate my personal brand: 1. Consistently posting insightful content (yes, this one too! ). 2. Engaging with meaningful conversations rather than just scrolling mindlessly. 3. Keeping my profile fresh—because the “last updated in 2020” vibe is not it! Let's discuss -what’s one thing you do to stand out on LinkedIn? #PersonalBranding #HRInsights #LinkedInTips

#hiring Comment #interested and I will review your profile. I have started to see a tonne of hiring posts on linkedin lately which goes like this. While it is understandable that companies want to attract potential candidates, this practice can be misleading and exploitative. Come on guys, who is going to give a job to these comments. Dear so-called "Linkedin influencers", please stop this. Stop taking advantage of people and giving them false hopes to boost your engagement metrics. Focus on creating quality informative content and natural engagement will follow.

Are you still struggling to grow your business or brand on LinkedIn? If so, it might be because you have the wrong audience in your connections. Understanding your needs and targeting your audience is key. For instance, if you're a graphic designer, your target audience isn't necessarily other designers. So, who is your target audience? CEOs, hiring managers, recruiters, YouTubers, or website owners could be on your radar. (But if you're a beginner, following experts in your field can help you learn the ropes.) If you're a business owner, consider what kind of business you have - B2B or B2C? If it's B2B, target other businesses that could benefit from your services or products. If it's B2C, focus on local customers who might be interested in your products. Consider partnering with influencers to boost your reach and sell your services. I hope you find these tips valuable. Feel free to share, support, or repost. Questions? Drop a comment below! #growyourbrandonlinkedin #brandgrowth #businessgrowthtips #SEOcontentwriter #leadsgenerator #righttargetaudience

Top tip for marketing professionals (and probably some other trades too)💡 Start keeping track of your wins and metrics related to key campaigns and save them somewhere you can access later. 📈 Never used to have to provide this level of detail during job applications in the past. So I haven't been keeping track as well as I could have and naturally don't have access to this data anymore in many cases. BUT, during this job hunt LOADS of people want to see this data before proceeding with my application. And considering some of my projects are over 5 years old, I don't remember the numbers, haven't got them saved somewhere and don't have contacts I can ask about them. It's been causing me some stress and problems. So sharing this tip to save someone else having this struggle later. 😑 #marketing #influencers #socialmedia #jobhunting #recruitment
