Today serves as a reminder that building truly inclusive spaces—where everyone belongs, thrives, and is seen—is a marathon, not a sprint. Last night's election results should strengthen our resolve and highlight the urgency of our collective mission to create more inclusive cultures. In this moment, we are not powerless; we are united in purpose. Every conversation, initiative, and hard-fought win in advancing equity, inclusivity, and justice in our workplaces matters more than ever. The road may feel steep, but it has always been paved with the courage, brilliance, and resilience of those who refuse to accept the status quo. To my fellow DEI leaders, advocates, and allies: Our work was never meant to be easy, but it was always meant to transform. We’ve always risen to the challenges of our time—and together, we will continue to drive the change we want to see. Let this be a moment of renewed energy, commitment, and solidarity. The impact we create is real, and our journey is far from over. Keep building. Keep striving. Keep pushing. This work has never been more needed.
I turn my heart to the extraordinarily gutsy catalyzer for change, Shirley Chisholm. “You don't make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas.” SC As always thank you Porter Braswell for your wise reflections and enduring vision.
"Keep building. Keep striving. Keep pushing." Keep recharging too. Take care All, G
