Today is International Women's Rights Day 🤝 🌏 A day to highlight and work towards equality for all women! Given the complexity of the challenge that is climate change, it is essential to have diverse inputs, and women add a formidable and crucial dimension to the discussion. Although sustainability is a relatively new field, the vast majority of leadership positions are still held by men. As in all areas, striking a balance is key to ensuring representation and achieving meaningful results. I encourage all underrepresented groups to rise to the challenge and explore the wide range of opportunities in climate-focused professions. This field is not only of critical importance; it's also exciting, rewarding, and genuinely captivating. #Womensrights #InternationalWomensDay #Sustainability

Thank you Fission Wealth for the acknowledgment. I truly believe that India Inc has a a lot of untapped potential talent in all the women that it has. Women do face with different challenges than men and some of them are as basic as fundamental respect and their rights. While the society tries to get their act together around this… my message is for all my women friends on 2024 International Women’s Day: 1. Find something that you are passionate about and then go after it till you get there. Nothing is too big that you can’t achieve with small steps. 2. Believe in yourself, all problems have a solution. Do your bit honestly with hard work and everything will fall in place 3. Find your mentors, allies, people you can trust and hold tight to them. They are precious and can play a significant role in your journey. 4. Lastly, we are generally known for our Compassion but remember… you can Create, Contribute and bring about Change as well. #inspireinclusion - Include yourself first and others will have to Include you.
Today, we stand tall, united, and unapologetically powerful. I am proud to have contributed to the celebration of #InternationalWomensDay with Pernod Ricard alongside strong, talented and inspiring women! As an HR professional, I am highly committed to enhance inclusivity in the workplace. How do we collectively do this? Making sure that our managers strongly contribute to driving a culture of diversity and inclusion for all, instilling this kind of behaviors in their teams. This starts with: - Leading by example: remain openminded, respectful of others, no matter their differences. Empowering ourselves and being courageous enough to address and challenge unconscious bias. - Having a better understanding of our key challenges and issues in terms of D&I in the workplace, to be able to come up with a relevant action plan that addresses our specific issues in our working environment. This starts by listening to people and creating a working environment that fosters sharing of feedback. - Raising awareness on the topic and more specifically the importance of managing bias, starting at the very top of the company, as I strongly believe that driving a culture of inclusion is very much about mindset and behaviors of our leaders. - Especially as HR I think it’s important that we make sure that everyone in the workplace is committed to fight stereotypes, by being trained on the topic. #inspireinclusion #IWD2024 Caroline Vaquette Michelle Keomany
