My graditude journey. As I look back over the past year, I’m reminded of the importance of showing up and holding myself accountable for my own growth. Facing myself hasn’t always been easy—leaning into fear, learning from failures, and letting go of insecurities. But through it all, I’ve learned how powerful it is to feel good in my own skin and truly trust myself. Now, I know that whatever I set out to do, I am capable. Every connection I make, I know I’m worthy of someone’s time and energy. But getting here hasn’t been a simple journey. Building self-love and self-trust is hard work. It takes courage to confront insecurities and commit to nurturing yourself. It’s easy to use insecurity as an excuse, but I’ve learned that self-love is the real recipe for success. When you believe in your worth, you’re unstoppable. Here’s to the journey of self-discovery, growth, and embracing our full potential. With gratitude,

Whilst many are celebrating this holy weekend of Easter, globally. I would like to share a moment shared today in my family's home, my Mom is singing a hymn "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". This is also a Bible verse John 3:16 has so many interpretations. What stands out as common factor of understanding is sacrifice for greater good. Easter is not just about Easter eggs and pickle fish. Mom is explaining to the grandkids about what love means the story of Easter. The kids are busy packing weetbix biscuits into small packets to serve homeless individuals. The grandkids werent looking too impressed with Ma lol! They have completed their tasks with much better rapport after Ma singing and sharing this story of God's Love. Many religions and cultures practice social care of some sort. If God our Creator can make such sacrifices for greater good, then we have no excuse. Each one is sharing their insights and understanding. We are raising future leaders too and need to start teaching them from young about this. I definitely believe that God was and is the original #volunteer. May we follow in His lead, to love without borders or boundaries. To care without judgment and to nurture where it's needed. May we never be blind to any injustice and socioeconomic shortfalls around us. May we all share our food, knowledge, skills and time amoungst one another. #loveyourneighbour In these times we are living in today, the needs are ever increasing. We should never give up on doing our best to work together for greater good. (can't remember who stated this) - "If everyone helps their neighbour, then who will need help?" In the corporate setting I am successful because of my experience as a volunteer. As a young child I was given goals by my parents (a Pastor father and Teacher Mother). The only reward was that it contributed to a need of basic human rights. There is nothing to compare against. If I didn't volunteer another individual did not have access to a much needed meal. The sense of social responsibility belongs to us all. Please do not ignore it. I challenge all corporations to factor corporate social responsibility like a KPI. Yes yes...this should not be forced however make it part of the norm. I promise you a phenomenal shift in employee engagement and dynamics. It will no doubt also drive rest of KPIS to absolutely beat set targets. The fulfillment of paying it forward, really is a factor and tool, that is often underestimated. This is my gift of experience in Care to anyone reading this right now.
