United Imaging CEO for North America, Jeffrey M. Bundy, Ph.D., comments on the company preparing to ship its 30,000th unit globally for installation in the U.S. this summer: "In our sixth year in the North American market, to achieve not only this global milestone, but a number of firsts we're very proud of, reflects the very significant investment we're making for customers in all parts of the country – from the first mobile digital PET/CT that is a leader in reaching patients everywhere (our uMI 550), to the first whole-body system to break the 200 ps timing barrier (the uMI Panorama GS). We will continue to break down traditional barriers in the industry in ways that matter to hospitals and imaging centers, wherever they are located. We've proven time after time that we can and we will deliver more firsts that change the market direction and improve patient care." #PassionForChange #SNMMI #MolecularImaging https://lnkd.in/e75FRJ2r

Centerline was proud to be part of the VEITHsymposium 2024, where thought leaders shared the IOPS® technology, clinical experience, and innovative platform research across multiple presentations. Attendees heard how IOPS is shaping the future of 3D navigation and visualization while mitigating the radiation exposure of clinical staff and patients. ICYMI - here’s what was presented: • Dr. Matthew Eagleton, Mass General Hospital: “Update On The 3D Radiation Free Electromagnetic Intra-Operative Positioning System (IOPS®) From Centerline For Endovascular Guidance: Advantages And Limitations” • Dr. Mark Adelman: “3-Dimensional Advanced Guidance Systems For Endovascular Procedures: How Do The IOPS (Centerline), FORS (Philips), And Cydar (Medtronic) Systems Work And Reduce The Need For Radiation” • Emily Burnett, with mentorship from Dr. Animesh Rathore: “IOPS-Guided Antegrade In Situ Laser Fenestration In An Aortic Model” Interested in learning more about the IOPS solution? Yesterday we introduced the NAEOTOM Alpha class - the beginning of the next era in photon-counting CT. Building on the foundation of NAEOTOM Alpha, this launch is designed to deliver even bigger clinical value and reach. We've focused on addressing the needs of healthcare professionals by enabling ultra-high resolution to see the unseen, being conclusive in every scan with spectral information, improving workflows and providing strong support for patient care decisions-benefiting many more patients. Proud to be part of a team that's redefining what CT imaging can achieve. Fabian Eisa, Philipp Wolber Anja Dyck Katja Gesty #RSNA2024 #theNAEOTOMAlphaclass #Unstoppable

Thanks for the reminder, I still have to finish my slides - CIRMS is a unique experience for individuals involved with #medicaldevices and irradiation, with plenaries on new techniques and technologies for radiation processing, advances in isotope and machine based radiation with an optional tour of NIST facilities following the conference. I'll be presenting a comparison of physical vs virtual dose mapping including some variables and product configurations that could be more accurately dose mapped using either technology.
Join us at the 31st Annual CIRMS Meeting for a deep dive into cutting-edge radiation measurements and standards. Our very own Nick Brydon will lead a discussion about the "Advantages and limitations of physical and virtual dose mapping of medical devices" on April 30th, 2:30 PM. We're excited to be a part of this opportunity to engage with industry, academia, and government stakeholders in a conversation shaping the future of disruptive technologies in radiation! https://lnkd.in/eJBfxFke #CIRMS2024 #RadiationMeasurements #MedicalDeviceInnovation #DoseMapping

Thanks to donor funding, London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is one of the few hospitals in the province equipped with 12 cutting-edge CE Voluson™ Expert 22 ultrasound units, offering advanced 3D and 4D imaging. These machines provide a clear, comprehensive view of fetal organ structures and functionality, enabling earlier and more precise diagnoses of fetal conditions. Assessments on areas like the fetal heart can now be conducted at 14 weeks, significantly earlier than the previous standard of 20 weeks, providing a greater opportunity for intervention if abnormalities are detected. Discover how this technology is helping give life its best shot in the Winter Edition of Your Impact Magazine: https://bit.ly/3CPa3nD

#RSNA kicked off yesterday, and we launched a major innovation in bringing #criticalcare imaging to the patient. #SOMATOM On.site, featuring the first-of-its-kind telescopic gantry, has been unveiled! It enables #CT imaging right at the bedside in the #ICU or even in an ambulance within a mobile stroke unit #MSU. We're delivering CT head imaging where it's needed most—directly to the patient. If you're attending RSNA, I’d love to personally show you what this revolutionary system can do. Come visit us at the @SiemensHealthineers booth to learn more and give it a spin!
