A strong founding team is a prime factor for every VC. Not only does it reduce investment risk, but it also translates into faster execution and effective utilization of invested capital. Here are five tips for VCs to decode the internal dynamics of a founding team: what to look for, how to get that information, and, importantly, the red flags to spot early on. Founders may find this helpful in understanding what VCs are looking for and self-evaluating before reaching out.

Really enjoyed taking part in the Global Corporate Venturing webinar on how to make the relationship between VC and Corporate LP a win-win for both. Key takeaways for me are: 1. Corporate LPs and VCs have richer opportunities to ideate on technology areas as well as co-invest and scale companies together. 2. There is immense power in having a corporate platform of LPs for both the LPs and VCs in order to act as a guide to the future of their industries 3. VCs must intentionally set themselves up with programs and services for Corporate LPs so they can extract the strategic value they look for. Take a look at the summary GCV article and recording of the webinar here - https://lnkd.in/eWpzCU2U
