Just because the “great quieting” is happening, doesn’t mean the head chatter within doesn’t still go on. This means they believe that you as their worker are a producer more than they believe you are a conscious, human being with emotional responses to the world of work around you. Holding space for our different, authentic “self’s”, collaborating on challenges we can solve together to create a better world for everyone is always a good investment of time, the ultimate currency. This is the ultimate level of emotional intelligence. https://lnkd.in/ePiJEhv8 It isn’t in the highest good of a people to remain unseen and unheard, and only increases their survival and internal threat response. We may have inherited systems that were based on profit and not people, but we all have a choice on whether or not we allow them to operate in the world that we wish to see and feel around us. We can all do well by doing good, and serve the highest good of all. It just asks for good intentions, compassion and collaboration.
