I have the wonderful pleasure of speaking at FAM’s first retreat and would like to draw inspiration for my presentation from other professionals! What is one thing you wish you could go back and tell yourself about boundaries? Are there tips and tricks you have learned to help making setting and maintaining boundaries easier? Please share!
I am so excited that FAM is hosting our first retreat! We will have 2 separate retreats. One on Friday, June 21st for teens ages 16-18 and one on Saturday, June 22nd for ages 18 & up. These will both be held at Colorado Mesa University and are free. Jamole Callahan will be flying in and teaching some of our topics, too! This is for individuals in foster or kinship care, reunified with parents, or adopted. Let me know if you have any questions! (If they go to the website there is also a link to register https://lnkd.in/gyuugT5b under the Annual Retreats section.) Registration Link: https://lnkd.in/gNFsDXJR

What are your actions communicating to your children? As adults, it is easy to tell our children what our values are, but it is far more difficult to put those values into action. You are raising the next generation to branch out and impact others for good as well. The Clark family lived out their family values by discipling other college students. Their son, Cole, was watching. Today, because of how his parents put their values into action, Cole found his own passion in ministering to other students. Discover how your family values can impact others for good: https://lnkd.in/gHx9TaCN #legacy #family #nextgeneration
