A recent advisory from the FBI reveals that threat actors are exploiting vulnerabilities in Chinese-branded xIoT devices to infiltrate networks. With billions of IoT and OT devices in use today, securing them can seem overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. In this blog, we discuss the impacted devices, the implications for those affected, and how Phosphorus helps organizations act on the FBI’s recommendations to secure their xIoT attack surface effectively and at scale. https://okt.to/sybvzA #IoTSecurity #HiatusRAT #FBI

Do you think the US government should ban TP-Link from the US market? Why are they considering it? As it turns out, the US is considering banning TP-Link from the US market due to a high number of security vulnerabilities in their IoT devices. If this is the grounds for banning a device, should that standard apply to companies that are not based in China? I've looked into a bunch of devices from TP-Link over the years. It can't be denied that they have a track record of producing vulnerable devices! I also just released a video showing a start to finish hack of a Mercusys (TP-Link brand) 4G router. check it out! https://lnkd.in/ehxR7GHN
